A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Hi, fellas!

A few months ago i tried to raise some chargebacks via my bank (1). Reason code: gambling. Next day the bank rejected my query. Someone from chargeback team phoned me and they said it's MasterCard rules. I tried then to reopen the case under Goods not received, but the bank refused. So... I went to FOS and i said that i raised the chargeback under the wrong reason, mistakenly copy/paste my case from a different bank(2) gambling to this bank(1). The casino used the same merchant for both banks. Merchant is selling digital goods, gaming. Now, FOS want to know whether my complaint is in relation to an online casino or chargeback for Goods not received. I already have a case with FOS regarding gambling (bank2). They are aware about the merchant.

FOS saying if this is in relation to online casino, they will look at my case differently and they will need from me evidence that the wrong code was used by merchant.

They saying if this is in relation to Goods not received, they need clear evidence that i haven't received the goods. Without this evidence it's very difficult to say that the merchant didn't do what they said they would provide.

.....

My questions:

*How to proove i haven't received anything from the merchant? I have no account with this merchant. I have never used their services. Never heard before about their website/gaming server

*There are multimple transactions in different days. If they will ask me why i continue to pay to the merchant if there was no (instant) delivery?

I raised some chargebacks via my bank2 and the merchant provided fake invoices. FOS is aware about this. The merchant is selling fixed coin packs, like 500,1000,2000,5000, but in the fabricated invoices they said that i bought 4470.

You are best just telling the truth and say they were gambling payments processed incorrectly and by disguised merchants to avoid protective measures and conduct illegal gambling in uk .

I have some info I can send over if you like that may help email is [email protected]

I would like to see what you have to say! Since you say you can prove it, if there is something you really know, it would be good to inform other players! At least that's what I would do if I knew it was like that? Because besides the scams that these casino companies do to some players with their money and in the analyses sometimes this is even more tragic!

Well I said I can't offer 100% proof but it is fairly clear for lots that this only happened following sign up and KYC at these casinos. They will sell batches of data and what others do with the data we don't know. These sites are openly laundering money so to think they are incapable of Identify Theft and misuse of data would be a bit silly.

If you do that then make sure you have proof of the MCC codes used and proof of a gambling block because FOS will side with the bank in the majority of cases if no bank block was in place.

So it would be good to provide appropriate screenshots when your engagement is in these casinos! Or it would be better to avoid them by playing better casinos with safer licenses and brands!

I don't play at all anymore - at Gamblers Anonymous and been free of gambling for months. Life is much better without it. Im only still around as I am committed to putting pressure on banks and these dodgy sites and have the evidence that clearly shows their fraud.

Look, when you call yourself a gambler, it means you really need to think about getting that person sober soon! You need to see it as fun, as another way of having fun, if you lose money thinking you'll win big, it's a mistake! What I do is called a social gambler! And I'm okay..
