A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Has anyone here ever submitted FOS complaints based on banks allowing online transfers despite specific requests to block them? My banks response was inadequate and I’ve taken it further.

I’ve just submitted a lengthy complaint citing FCA guidelines violations on protecting vulnerable individuals - will see how it’s handled. Would love to hear if anyone has had similar experience and what your outcome was.

That is the flaw with MOSES, when I did it the person said Coral and Ladbrokes are starting to use facial recognition so all of them can pick you up even if you miss one so that’s a benefit should it happen.

Suppose the banks will eventually stop it on goods not received as it is a risk/fraud concern for them.

Thats hopefully the one thing in my favour these last 5 with Barclays doing goods not received the other 13 all were refunded directly after chargeback so fingers crossed my final

ones go through

I would definitely dispute via Barclays usually pretty decent I think it’s because VISA is much better than Mastercard

Hi Jim.

It works not bad but is not foolproof as I complained to them about getting in etc severe gambling habit then it was working everywhere even in Edinburgh and I am in Glasgow so they must have upped their game, the thing is it stops you going in as it is humiliating if they pull you so it helps a bit.

I am sure you will be fine with your chargebacks now give me a shout if any challenges as I have never lost any and I have a template I made myself that beat skinsmagnate.

I only have four transactions to recover would be easier to do it myself but might need to bite the bullet and go to the bank I think it will be ok.

Thanks Paul.

Agreed the walk of shame once they pull you is a nightmare, I haven’t been in one for 9 months now but always a risk when I travel for work ideally it rolls out nationally eventually.

On experience if that bank raise it there is a good chance it lands, hopefully yours go through with the merchants but I am sure the bank will sort it if required especially goods not received route.

Yes it helps for sure if I never played those machines I would be fine in a bookie my fault for being a clown.

Yes looks like I will need the bank to help but its only £1600 so not a massive amount will see how it develops..

Hello!

I'm writing here because the casino has been having this problem for months.

I have a merchant on my bank statement, the casino tells me that they confirmed the refund and they even gave me the RRN code. I've been waiting for 1 month + but nothing. The bank says that the code is not in the system and that I should contact the merchant again. I've repeated this action at least 3 times and the same response from both the bank and the merchant.

If anyone has experienced something like this, please advise me on what I should do, thanks!

Hi, who refunded you? The merchant or the casino?
