A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

I blocked the site for three months. Three months later, the plague returned. I played again and won again, but they still didn't pay out!

I gave up hope and lost everything again!!

Absolute dirt!!

Just raised some disputed transactions with Revolut and they closed them within 20 minutes saying the merchant declined. Even if this were true (I don’t believe they even attempted to contact them), it shouldn’t matter what they say unless they provide evidence that the transactions were legitimate ones spent at a spa which they weren’t. I am so beyond disgusted with this excuse for a bank, they are driving me to despair, they have never helped me once get back the tens of thousands I lost through them and now I can’t even get back a few hundred pounds in chargebacks.

Apologies for the rant but I just find the inconsistency in their approach and their blatant lies so deeply unfair and unjust.

No disrespect, but it might be the way the disputes are being raised. I’ve used Revolut and got back tens of thousands without any issues. The only time I had a problem was when I mentioned gambling my dispute was declined, so I learned from that and changed my approach.

Also, chargebacks for money transfers or anything involving gambling are usually declined right away, as there’s not much the bank can do.

Just speaking from personal experience it might be worth checking if your disputes line up with Revolut rules. They have to abide by Mastercard/Visa rules also.

I have an ongoing investigation in place so until that's resolved I'd rather not comment on the situation.

Hi

just a bit of an update with my complaints

all complaints have gone to the ombudsman. The investigators think that because I didn’t have a gambling block on my account then my transactions don’t qualify for chargeback.

This is a fucking joke and I’ve had enough of it all. The country is in a fucking mess because of things like this.

I did, with barclays and capital one. Told them i think its a scam/fraud as i don’t recognize those merchants. However they were within a week since payments went through. Both banks Blocked my cards, payments vanished and sent me new cards. That was it.
