Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Yeah I totally get that, I never raise disputes for anything or even complain usually so it’s frustrating but we shall see. Think it might be worth me mentioning the FOS cases that have been upheld for the same reason when complaints get back to me? I’m sure they would rather avoid needing to go to them as the charges are substantial when it gets to that point

They can pick and choose during the dispute however they usually go through them 1 by 1 so this is a good sign for you

Yeah fingers crossed for you. Weirdly - I raised the chargebacks with Monzo, they declined them all and the next day one of the merchant refunded a payment. I wonder if Monzo let the merchant know even if they decline the chargeback.

Yeah I think the banks must alert the merchants to the chargeback request, and obviously some of them just initiate the refund there and then. So just shows it may still be worth raising even if Monzo are going to reject!

Monzo won't accept any of my Chargebacks. They just keep asking me what I ordered and what didn't I get. I think they are just trying to stop me from requesting any- such a pain in the rear...

So just had an email out of the blue from the casino. I'd gone to them first and they'd fobbed me off offering 200 quid as a goodwill gesture. I'd deposited 8k 🙈 I responded a month or so ago just repeating they'd masked the transactions and I'd be going the chargeback route if they wouldn't refund. I have been hesitant to raise the chargebacks due to people having their accounts closed.


The casino are now offering me half of my total deposits.
