A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

I think you’ve misread the article, this has nothing to do with chargebacks or gambling?

I didn't get an option to contest. Revolut closed the case immediately stating they had provided evid3nce. I have now submitted a formal complaint and with take revolut complaint to ombudsman

I told them exactly that and that is what they used to tell me I violated their terms and they would not recover my monies.

Terms of use for their accounts as they don’t support it.

can you share pictures of transactions being disputed

fdrain

I’d rather not as the FOS are dealing with it now and I don’t post screenshots of my bank accounts. I’m not making this up, many people have this experience with Revolut so this isn’t new information.

Yes except mine are highlighted in red as they were rejected. I had several card chargebacks they declined but most were bank transfers, the Ombudsman complaint relates to the large bank transfers. I’m not saying you won’t get your money back but I’ve heard so many other stories where even in more black/white fraud cases Revolut won’t refund.

now let's be clear, did they raise your Chargebacks to the card scheme

I just checked back on the app and no, Revolut disputed them without even raising to the merchant.

Gamblur

because when it's raised to the merchant. if you see this

then you have the right to contest and go to arbitrary

fdrain

You got very lucky then as whenever I contact them their bot staff just refuse to help me because it’s related to unlicensed gambling sites.

You don’t have to say if you’re not comfortable but I’m curious to know what your accepted argument was. The casino you won against I see is a licensed one not a Curacao one.
