A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Yeha I have mentioned gambling due to the fact it’s VISA and they’re genuinely very good on refunding the wrong MCC code compared to Mastercard as they have a legit chargeback rule for wrong MCC Codes

Play them at their own game , their t&c’s say no gambling however due to merchants miscoding transactions they allowed them to be processed. Had the merchants provided true data they would have been blocked in the wise platform. Therefore they should initiate chargeback or they could be seen to be complicit in fraudulent transactions

Does anyone have a direct contact at Visa? It's already too late for everything at the bank.

I've come across a slight problem with my bank, they are asking me for evidence that a casino has used the incorrect MCC 🤣 I mean what can I do? How do I prove that? I've sent them screenshots of the casino deposits that match up with the transactions on my statement. I think it's quite obvious the incorrect MCC was used but they want evidence that they're using the wrong code? Any help greatly appreciated

Request a DSAR from the bank that will have all the information the only code that should be used for gambling is 7995.

who were payments to. Find websites and evidence that, for example, you didn’t give a creator any funds or buy a course online .

Does anyone have any advise where I could possibly raise this to…

have just over £800 in payments to Kesspay - a Cambodian company that seems to sell some kind of NFTs and other things that’s not really clear!

raised chargebacks and company came back with all this "evidence" I had set up an account with them 😵‍💫 Bank took their side and chargeback declined! Raised as formal complaint proving their evidence was fake and that they don’t respond to any emails. Bank still declined so have raised to FOS.

the evidence provided by them actually shows I deposited over £4k into a supposed account I have with them! And no withdrawals are shown so really according to them I should have over £4k sitting in an account somewhere 🙈

When I try to log into their site by pressing forgot password it directs me to email them, which I have done over 10 times and not had a single reply.

have raised to FOS, raised to Cambodian cyber crimes (no reply) and Cambodian DPA authorities (no reply)

So frustrating! Does anyone know where else I could raise this to?
