A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Yes understood, that's why I believe this would more of a case directed with the actions of the bank - or lack of. Perhaps there can be some kind of compensation warranted further down the line.

I doubt it mate. They will continue to get away with money laundering. There isnt one casino licensed by Curacao that is legit and not a front… it’s crazy they have their own fake providers for live casino also it’s just ridiculous

Has anyone had success with quickbit / coin shop? They won the chargeback. Bank has said they can move the case to the fraud / scam team. Wonder if a waste of time?

I’ve had update from MBNA and they’re saying that as the payment from My credit card was a money transfer transaction, there isn’t much they can do to start a dispute for service not recieved, this was with SMPaypf*maginic. Any ideas how this can be got roundb

On what basis? Did you raise the chargeback as services/goods not received?

Yes I raised as service not received, so I’ve gone back with incorrect MCC code. I’ve been open and honest with them re gambling transactions, but they said the transaction was a money transfer so cannot be disputed as service or goods not received! So I’ve now said incorrect MCC code used as it’s showing as a financial institution not Gambling. Hope that makes sense

It’s Lloyd’s being difficult, they submitted it for me but the merchant disputed it so they couldn’t proceed saying I’ve not received a service as it’s a money transfer and not a transaction. I’ve got a live complaint with the ombudsman re all my MBNA transactions I’m hoping they agree incorrect MCC codes qualify for refunds, that’s with Mastercard! It’s been 2 months now so hope the ombudsman hurry’s up! Does anyone know the chances of successful ombudsman results with incorrect MCC codes and Mastercard?

Quickbit is mainly money transfers deposited by customer but then converted into crypto by a fraudster and then sent to multiple different countries.

Yes I did. They then came back with receipts saying I bought crypto etc and they are not the stored wallet holder
