A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Guys be aware Elegro will not refund directly they will tell you to process a chargeback with your bank as they cannot process refunds is what they say. But you can use their reply to help your case

I'm hoping I do get an email from them to go through the bank, like I said last night's call with Starling the women was on my side and said this is a huge problem with these merchants and to only give them till Monday to reply, then get back in touch with the bank.

Is there anyone who actually managed to get a payop transfer refunded?

I have seen people on this thread get refunds from elegro before, so could it maybe be that they only refund UK transactions and not others? That would explain why some people get them paid back direct rather than chargeback? Just a thought

No I'm from UK and they tell you this normally. fileso I'm not sure how you and Mel approached it but you got a different response than all resent people.

Yeah even when u send the information they will tell you to submit a chargeback they don’t refund directly.

I would be very surprised if anyone has - Payop have a statement on what they term "friendly fraud" and they dismiss any attempt at recourse.

Have you seen theses recipts? If not ask for any copy because if you can prove that the transactions did not go to them and cross ref with the casino you can take it to Arbitration with bank i think

Spoke to bank, the refunds will keep getting declined until they use my new card details, I have sent emails to jem with new card details so fingers crossed.

Also with regards to elegro they have sent an email back saying they don't recognise me as a customer so to go via my bank. However I found an email address for Nikotpf so have emailed them aswell asking for refund.

That email is- [email protected]

They have links to elegro so I believe it is he right one.

Yeah me too but that was so weird it wasn't there before as I have done numerous searches and it always came up as elegro
