A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

When I am checking FCA:s webpage, it looks like you cannot complain at firma they regulate via them but they refer to the Financial Ombudsman service. Anyone that has tried this?

I have reported financial people to the FCA before for high interest rates and irresponsible lending however financial ombudsman can be a good start and you can call them to gain some advice but make sure you state that Altpay is uk based and regulated by FCA in case they try and palm you off

Hello, who has already had a pixtab refund?

At least you should report them to the UKGC

https://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/public-and-players/complaints

The way they are processing transactions, as non gambling, removes any consumer protection, and I guess they might want to protect the UK gambling license as much as possible? I am not sure though.

But I would say this falls under one or more of these.

money laundering concerns

suspicious activity

unlicensed gambling or criminal activity.

Maybe they can at least get on Altpays ass and hassle them, even if it doesn't mean you will get any money back.

About a week to reply and around £200-£250 as unfortunately I made majority of my transactions through payop which is open banking so only a small amount - I just emailed as said someone has used my card fraudulently as I’ve never had anything to do with them

It was 2 transactions for £70
