A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

This is what I suspected, is it even legal for them to do this?

Then you get an auto-reply where Revolut writes "We have carefully reviewed your case" on their email.

They haven't manually reviewed it, and I just found them. It is possible to click on the transactions you submitted for chargeback and select "update on your case" before you received a novice etc. then it immediately said that they were rejected, then there is a delay on their notices where it says the same.

So they have "thoroughly" reviewed the transactions for 5 seconds, not even reading proof I sent.

It's nonsense what they're doing. Why can't we chargeback when we have the right to do so 😅

I know I reckon its just lazy staff sitting there deciding he should not have been gambling refuse them ! and because its not the normal type of thing just ignore them 😂 they should just be raising them if they think your abusing the system then just do it and issue a final warning

Hello Guys

As anyone here had much success with getting there refunds from there banks when the banks have blocks in place before the transactions took place " to protect you " and the chargebacks was successful

I have also had blocks on certain merchants not naming the merchants in case there on here and they have still bypassed the blocks on the account

just want to get opinions before submitting the chargebacks because the Merchants dont reply to you

Bit of a crazy one guys..

So I've been using Yahoo for alot of these merchants people are searching for.

smpaypf*maginc - just searching this on yahoo brings up loads of merchants 🤷‍♂️ very very strange. A few Magua pay ones which we already know are corrupt as anything.

Theplatinum.co is definitely Smpaypf*THE now, I can 99.99% certify that.

Smartpayments.ee is also part of Magua so there goes any refunds from them! Magua are B*****ds haha

Problem is that none of above ever refunded.

Same bastards as QuickBit

Has anyone successfully chargedback Quickbit/Fomiline UAB or Goriwire S.p.Zoo? Really interested to know.

Bank has raised my chargebacks with them. Said the money has gone to a wallet, the wallet is an "affiliate" wallet. Is this grounds for me?

I obviously don't have an account and the SARS request clearly states my D.O.B as my username - again proving I never had an account or done business with this company!

Hello I have raised some chargebacks with my bank but they are now asking what were the payments for . Is it best to tell them it was for a gambling website and say that’s it’s running an illegal operation and hiding under 3rd part merchants ? Not sure which way to go about it for the best chance to win the chargebacks

I'm in a dispute with Quickbit buddy. Bank are on my side!

See my post above. I asked them a month earlier to block my card and email..they never did. I have the proof.

Also have proof of that stupid ****head Ola saying speak to the casino for a refund. Acknowledging the money went elsewhere. I may have a good case, I feel optimistic

Depending what it is. Ive been honest from the start. Also depends on your bank. You have every right to chargeback for incorrect MCC

I have been honest with the bank and told them these transactions are for a casino but they are using a 3rd party to bypass blocks , I have also stated that they are using a wrong MCC which makes them also eligible to be chargebacked . Will let you know what I get back from them . Fingers crossed .

The lengths these sites are going to just to get money its unreal !

Yeah I know , it’s clearly all part of an illegal operation .

it’s a shame the banks dont see it this way , felt like they were interrogating me with all the questions and the replies I got off them . Starling are not on your side when it comes to chargebacks . This is the first time I have ever tried to chargeback aswel .
