A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Raised a chargeback claim with Nationwide around 40 days ago, almost £6000 over around 50 transactions from multiple third part payment providers.

immediately Nationwide refunded all the payments whilst they investigated the chargebacks but stated the money would be taken back off me if the chargebacks were unsuccessful.

Had notifications a few days later that 3 transactions had been successfully resolved. Then heard nothing for a few weeks so worried the rest had been unsuccessful 😵‍💫

Finally yesterday got a load of notifications saying the rest of the transactions had been successful too!

So glad I found this thread and realised I had a chance of recouping some losses and can put this horrible part of my life behind me 😊

Wow, that's great news! My bank declined all of mine, so waiting for the Ombudsman appeal. Not feeling very confident anymore.

What reason did you chose for the chargebacks? Can you re-raise them (Click on a transaction and see of you still can proceed with chargeback)?

Well done, I think once you get the banks to actually chargeback the likelihood of these scam companies contesting it is pretty much zero

i hope so mate but they decline like all else i will go to ombudsman and go down that route.

What companies did you have on your transactions? So made up other people are finally winning. To become a champion we all need to take this money, run and never look back😁

Just a question for everyone, seeing as my bank have charged back with the following companies;

Grotobook & Mydates

ETS*EWAVE

Pixeleum.io

BITSENT EU

GORIWIRE S.P.ZOO

FOMILINE U.A.B

Has anyone had success with these companies via the chargeback method? These companies are obviously the ones who refuse to refund from our contact. Would love to know the success rates 🙂

Hi everyone, just got an update regarding my case -I have succesfully been chargedback from Grottobook/MyDates via Revolut. It took exactly 50 days so I assume that they havent replied to the bank.

Awesome!! So they didn't even respond?? That gives me some hope for these merchants!

No the bank just instant refunded me and credit card no reply those ones time lapsed

ARN (National Board for Consumer Complaints) has approved my report and forwarded it to Revolut and requests that they respond to it now

It applies to transactions under "Luxtel" "Getmygamekey" "Grotobook/Mydates" etc. They denied all chargebacks within an hour and marked them all as "invalid" and they refuse to proceed even though I pointed out that I did nothing wrong.

So let's hope they tighten up now.
