A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Im trying to get my money back from Winstler casino. They let me register and deposit money, while they do not have a license to operateur in the Netherlands. Its also running from some kind of curaçao license. And they dont wanna refund the deposited money, they did take it illegal. Anybody has experience with this casino? If they keep refusing ill report

Hi Owen, it's good to read this as I'm trying to discuss with my bank at the moment and they just don't seem to understand the issue. I have a gambling block activated and by these merchants using incorrect codes the payments have bypassed the block, had correct codes been used the transactions would have been blocked. Do you have any advice for me corresponding with the bank about this and are chargebacks possible for this issue? Obtaining authorisation via incorrect data? All the merchants ok my statements operate what appear to be fake shops, selling things that I haven't ordered or received, fake items like software services, ect. Any advice welcome. Thanks

If you report the transactions as unauthorized they will do an investigation and call the companies on your statement. Since they are breaking the rules of visa and international gaming laws, they will not answer your bank or be able to prove that you purchased anything from them and you will win your claim.

Great news. Have you received your refund now? How long did it take them to review and agree to refund? They have emailed me to say my documents are with the "relevant department" to investigate. How far back were your transactions?

Yes all received within 2 days of first contacting them it arrived this morning! Apprx 1300 worth.

Now waiting on Elogra.

Anyone else had any luck with the others? Don't think taslink will follow up

That's amazing, I emailed 4 days ago and apparently my documents are with a department for review, my transactions are almost a year old and total 5 figures so will see, how old were yours?

I have had a refund from canapay and that's it so far.

Only a couple of months old, so a bit different I guess. Good luck!
