A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Chargeback raised for Ventira as the bastards cannot be found at all! Luckily Revolut didn’t question it one bit

What do you mean they can’t be found? They have a website and email/phone number but don’t respond at all. best of luck with your chargebacks. I wish my bank would’ve let me done that 🙁

That’s what I mean sorry - it’s just a front for the payments so no actual chance of getting it back via them directly. Will they not raise it for you?

I just said I hadn’t received the services from them and they accepted it… I haven’t done many chargebacks tho so this might be why and the ones I have I’ve won

Looking for some advice as unsure how to proceed. I have recently relapsed into gambling. I ask a certain casino to close my account in August this was. Completely ignored. They stated they had no ability to close my account I have pleaded with them over the past few days and account is still open. I have all evidence of chats etc. is it worth approaching my bank or not? Any advice would be really appreciated

Hey, I genuinely am not trying to tell you what to do or how to go about this process but please be careful of raising chargebacks under "goods not received" as technically this is fraudulent IF the money was credited to the casino and then used. (If it wasn’t, then absolutely go this route and have proof available).

The casino/merchant can easily show proof of the funds being credited and used which may raise issues with your bank.

Like I said, genuinely not trying to tell you what to do, just be mindful of how you raise chargebacks to give yourself the best opportunity of having a successful outcome.

honestly mate unfortunately there’s no point. just try find the merchants. Monzo rejected all my claims on day 1. I gave them proof of about 8 emails/live chats of me requesting my account be closed and disclosing an addiction but literally they did not care at all
