A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Did anyone ever find DigitalTech?

also I have. VIZORA.AI

has anyone got refunds from them?

Small update on my Barclays disputes for Peak Gear Apparel, all have been successful and refunded in full.

I’m still waiting on disputes for CRRZN, ILVMNL, WWELTD, TCHTXT, PIXELSN and VOLTORIA.

I’ve been impressed by the way Barclays have handled this. At the beginning they were dragging their feet a bit, but once fully explained they’ve been great

I was very honest about the situation. Explained that all the transactions corresponded to deposits made to an offshore gambling platform however for this specific merchant I haven’t knowingly directly purchased anything from them. Their MCC code is 5655 which is Sports / Riding Apparel, NOT a gambling MCC code. I showed evidence of emails to peak gear to which they didn’t respond at all.

The important thing is not to lie about authorising transactions. If there’s a lot rather than 1 or 2 which I’m assuming there is, that explanation just won’t sit right and it’s a lie of course. We authorised the transactions, we just didn’t consent to third parties who have absolutely no connection to gambling to be involved in the transactions.

Also, I really didn’t find Monzo to be helpful at all with other transactions I had. They kept declining my disputes and I didn’t want to pursue it further because I didn’t want them to close my account, which they’re notoriously known for

could you keep me posted? Best of luck to you. Kryptonim straight up denied me even though it’s against their own T and Cs to facilitate gambling transactions but oh well. If it goes well please let me know how you did it.

oh damn. mine was on credit card with barclaycard. hopefully they’re just as helpful, how much did you get refunded if you don’t mind me asking? and how many transactions? I have 50+ transactions which total 4 figures

For Peak Gear it was just under 20 transactions I think for over £1000. So not a massive amount

Hi. They are processed by Xpate.

Hi. This merchant, Giftix-org, isn't paying out winnings. I know that Xpate handles the processing.

Hi. I'm curious. Xpate wrote to me again saying they'll check everything and get back to me as soon as possible. I'm curious.

Hi. Xpate isn't refunding the money. I have to keep reminding them about it.

Hello everyone,

I've noticed that XPATE-VERCS2, CALCAL, and JUSDOT5 appear to be using incorrectly encoded MCC codes instead of the actual merchant category. Has anyone encountered these descriptors or have any information about how they work?

I’d appreciate any information. Thanks!

Yes I know but from what they write here on the forum Xpate does not issue refunds even though it is regulated by the FCA.

That's why I was trying to find out who the traders are so I could contact them directly.

In your case, which merchants did Xpate process?

Did Xpate answer you?

Hello. Has anyone ever heard of WWELTD? I was told it's Xpate, but I think that's a mistake. I've actually had dealings with Xpate before, and they're impossible to reach.
