A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Sameee Ive been checking my emails. I actually doubt they will respond.

Same. I will report them to the FCA and ICO for the kyc breach and not responding. Im thinking they just send a kyc check to everybody who emails them.. dont think thats allowed if you dont even have transactions with them.

Definitely. Like lets be honest are they really going to investigate everyones transactions and accounts on the same day 🙄 the only thing that was giving me hope is the fact they are UK based and I thought they would follow some laws but I guess not. We will know by the end of the day!

Yeah I thought the same because they are with FCA. But I guess it shows now it doesnt mean a thing. They already have a restriction from the FCA and still they dont have their work in order.

I checked my email and was in contact with cardaq 2024 for the first time, without success. The way I ended up contacting them then is probably because they showed up on the tab when I deposited. So they have been involved in this for a long time, and knowingly. I never got through to them in 2024 and the chargeback period for those payments has already expired. Why they suddenly started refunding and investigating chargeback requests, I can't say, and I hope you get your money. All I know is they have been involved in this illegal activity for a long time and knowingly.

Have cardaq even refunded anyone? I think only one person said they got refunded and around 6 or 7 said they got declined.

I have received a couple of refunds in the past in 2024 and 2025. Responses from Cardaq came via Ksenija Blumfelde - Head of Chargeback Processing - k.blumfelde@cardaq.co.uk

I just wrote the standard stuff about the funds being miscoded and facilitated on behalf of an unlicenced offshore casino etc as far as I recall.

Dear ,

We hereby inform you that we have received your email and will make every effort to investigate and resolve this situation.

We will begin processing the refunds on Monday during our regular business hours and will carefully monitor the progress of your case.

Kind regards,

Ksenija Blumfelde
