Hello everyone,

I've heard that banks are increasingly having problems with incoming payments coming from Mifinity Malta Limited.

My BBVA account was frozen for security checks. This has been going on for a week now without any notification. I suspect it's due to a few small transfers from Mifinity.

I had a similar experience with Wise once: Money came in from Mifinity and immediately afterwards an email from Wise stating that these payments were not desired and that the account would be terminated if there was a further violation.

Bunq immediately closed the account after receiving a few deposits from Mifinity.

Does anyone have experience with Revolut or other banks that don't cause any problems?

What would be an alternative to crypto? I'm thinking, for example, of a prepaid credit card that can be topped up with Mifinity, and then you could withdraw the money in cash from an ATM!?

That would be one idea, for example.

It would be great if we could exchange information here to find a legal way to get our casino money back without having to deal with the bank 🙂

Greetings

If you suspect that MiFinity transfers may be contributing to the banking checks you're experiencing, it could make sense to look at alternatives that avoid MiFinity altogether.

Skrill or Neteller may be worth looking at, provided the casinos you use support them for withdrawals. Both services are designed to receive payouts from partner merchants, including gambling operators, and both offer prepaid Mastercard options in eligible EEA countries. That means you may be able to receive the casino payout into the wallet and then use the wallet's own card for purchases or ATM withdrawals instead of immediately transferring everything to a traditional bank account.

Another option worth checking is a direct card withdrawal from the casino to Revolut. Revolut officially supports incoming transfers directly to its cards, and it specifically mentions that online gambling, gaming and betting sites are among the merchants that use this type of payout. Of course, the casino itself would need to offer Visa/Mastercard withdrawals to your card.

None of these options is guaranteed to be completely free of compliance checks. Skrill, Neteller and Revolut can all ask for verification or information about transactions, and local gambling regulations still apply. But they are legitimate alternatives that remove MiFinity Malta Limited from the payment chain altogether.

I would probably check the withdrawal section of the casinos you normally use and see whether Skrill, Neteller or a direct Visa/Mastercard payout is available before opening another account specifically for this purpose. 🙂
