The same happened here in Czech Republic 4 years ago and it kind of destroyed the online gambling business. There are currently only 6 casinos with the Czech license. The best foreign casinos who operated on the Czech market using the Malta license left the Czech market, because they didn't want to get into trouble, but they didn't apply for the Czech license, because it's very difficult to get and there are many obstacles (you need to get verified physically, not just online).

The result is that you can either play in one of those 6 casinos or you play in online casinos that really don't care about licenses, regulations etc. The problem is that when you win in these types of casinos, then it could be very difficult to get your winnings.

That's what I said. I believe that the Corona crises hit the people with low income the most. These people mostly couldn't afford to play and lose in casinos anyway. But as long as people have money and stable income, they'll keep playing.

Hello. I used to visit the local casino a lot, but now I prefer to play online. I think the casino crisis is not an obstacle.
