I was wondering if anybody knows if casinos are allowed to take whatever withdrawal fee they want?

I recently made a withdrawal from Unlimit Casino (MGA Casino) and they took over 20% of my winnings in withdrawal fee.

Hi, I would say that this is not a common fee, nor is it normal. Fees are usually charged by banks or payment providers for transfers and transactions. Have you checked the terms and conditions to see if any payment method has such a high fee? Have you tried asking the casino why it is so high?

Yes, I have asked them several times. First they said that they don't have any fees and told me to talk to the banks involved. One of the banks don't have any fees and the other one say they don't have anything to do with the transaction.

At last the casino admitted that there might be fees but won't be any more specific than that.

They just copy the terms which says:

"Payment fees may be applied to transactions depeding on chosen payment method, bank, card issuer and bank country".

Yes, I understand what they copied for you, many casinos have this kind of formula. It's clear that if money goes through some payment method, the provider may charge some fees. But 20% is too much, in my opinion. So I guess the key is which side the fees come from. If the casino has no control over them and they don't come from them, then I understand. But if they do, then that's too much.
