It’s not depressing exactly, just… empty sometimes. When you’re playing alone, wins feel quieter and losses linger longer. There’s no shared reaction or moment to break the flow. I’m curious if others feel a different emotional weight when gambling solo versus with friends or in social settings.

I like playing with my friends most of the time, so I understand you. When I place sports bets, I like to do it with my friends on the same site, so it's a social activity.

Indeed, when we win, we often want to share it with everyone (although in my opinion, it's better to remain discreet, especially with large sums), and when we lose, we crave comfort. It's a bit like with women: we always want to show off our gorgeous new girlfriend, and we always call our best friend when she leaves us. 😂

Totally agree. When it’s with friends it feels more like a shared experience, not just about winning or losing. Playing alone can make everything feel more serious and a bit heavier.
