The 2 casinos I use no longer accept Visa/MasterCard so the only option is to deposit through crypto. There are costs involved but if you accept them it’s a safe and easy way to transfer money.
If you are talking about crypto as an investment I don’t think you will make much and could even lose in the long run. That’s just my personal opinion and I’m no expert so you will need to do your own research
