January weather

Good evening! The weather today...is cold. It's very cold!! It's starting to snow lightly.

This is the weather in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Actually, that's how it should be now

It's cold. We call it that.

"Epiphany frosts", that is,

in winter, on the Epiphany of the Lord.

We have January 19th, and you have the 6th.

Before I read it, I just opened the balcony door, so

as the central heating in the house is too intense.

Hot. :) And outside - yes, +1°C.

Hi, it's similar here but today it was a bit sunny. Do you like winter as a season or not so much?🙂

Not particularly...I like autumn more now.

Same here today. It's snowing a little...it's sleeting...and then it stops.

But it's freezing.

We are at -2 today.

You rather like warmer weather I suppose when you are from Greece. It's quite a leap from the warm season to such a cold one, but before we know it, we're in summer again.😀

I used to really like winter...but as I grew older, it seems my preferences changed. What can I say??

And what was your favourite thing about winter? I had exactly the opposite, I didn't like winter much but I loved it mainly because of skiing and other activities. Do you do anything like that in the winter?

No, nothing. Once upon a time, if it snowed... I would play a snowball fight or make a snowman... but I mainly liked it because in winter, no matter how cold it is, one finds ways to warm up.

While in the heat...even if you take it all off...you still don't cool down...it's difficult..

I get it. Summers are much harder to survive in such temperatures as the ones in Greece, so I'm not surprised that some people like to take a break. I see you're one of them. 😉
