Hello everyone, I am new to this forum. I have a lot of experience in sports betting and I am now exploring the world of casino. Especially the tactics to beat the houses edge.

Could anyone introduce me to the most basic strategies?

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for your answer, I will take a look at these articles.

Have you ever been profitable with casino games yourself?

I was profitable on roulette, but I believe that it was just a coincidence. I saw few guys who played the same system as I did and they lost so I stopped playing. It was also a very mentally challenging experience since there were moments when the bet was over 5000 € per spin 😀

Speaking about gambling, we all know that you can be profitable on poker and I also believe that since the house edge is very low on Blackjack, it's possible to be profitable on Blackjack. We also have an article about it https://casino.guru/how-to-play-blackjack-introduction-1

Thanks Daniel, I do also believe you can be profitable in poker, which is also proved by all of the poker championships. Personally I do not see poker as a real casino game, since you are playing against other people instead of playing against the house.

I guess with roulette you always have a lesser chance than the house, because of the green '0' field. I guess you have the most chance of winning in a blackjack game indeed, especially in a real life game, because you can count cards. However I am doubting if that is possible in online casinos.

You could even do it in online casinos where you have a chance to play live casino games streamed from real casinos. The thing is that you usually play with 8 card packs in the shoe and they change them quite often (I think after 3 packs). Anyway, even in that case, you can sometimes realise that the chances for high cards are higher in some situations so it's worth to increase your bets and lower them after they change the shoe and start with new packs.

Yes indeed, but do the casino's have an automated system in which they flag players that increase their bets upon higher changes. I think they do.

Some have it, some don't. But there's plenty of casinos so you could possibly jump from one to another.

Yes, indeed, but still it could be annoying if you have spend some time at one casino, make some profit and get limited, haha.

I personally prefer sports betting to poker, truth be told. There are more chances to win.

I mean, yeah, it depends on how good you are at it, yet there are so many parlay sports betting calculators like the one on americanodds.com and some other useful tools to become even more successful in sports betting that it's kinda hard not to win.

Honestly, success has started for me when I finally decided not just to thoughtlessly follow my intuition but count odds and analyze every player's statistics.

Having lost much money on my games with intuition and luck, I figured out that success comes only when you start to take smart steps.
