I’ve been wondering about something related to game providers like Evolution.
In some countries (for example the Czech Republic), a lot of their games are simply not available. It almost felt like one day they just flipped a switch and whenever I try to play Evolution now it just says "not available in your country", even though online gambling itself is legal here.
I’m curious why providers choose to block certain markets like this. Is it mainly due to licensing, regulations, or business decisions?
From a player’s view it feels a bit strange as if the games are already developed and working, why not offer them everywhere where gambling is allowed?
Also wondering if anyone knows whether these restrictions ever change over time. Do providers sometimes "re-open" countries later, or once a country is blocked it usually stays that way permanently?
Would be interesting to hear if anyone has more insight or experience with this.
