Hello dear community,

I have encountered some casino games that seem to pay way less than usual. Is it possible for these games to be fake? Mostly in websites without licenses.

Has anyone encountered any similar issue? If so, in which online casino operator?

I just want to make sure I don't get scammed.

Hello there.

All is possible, however, several other aspects define what you call "fake games".

The main one is server tracking. Always mind the URL, while the game is active.

Sadly, many game providers offer casinos pre-set variants of RTP for certain games like 94,95,96%, for instance.

Hence the actual payout is not the best pointer.

To be safe, you should always investigate the casino a bit to find out possible risks, casinos offering fake games are marked here on Casino Guru:

Could you name the casino and the game you found suspicious, please?

We believe the casinos should always show the game RTP or allow players to test games in a free mode.
