Beware of bwin.de!

I recently registered with bwin.de.

I was able to place the first single bets with amounts of up to 500 euros.

Then the limits were well below 100 euros.

And finally 1 euro.

I know that bwin.de has the right to do this, etc ...

I can advise against anyone planning to bet with larger amounts against bwin.de.

bwin is just a household name, but nothing more. Bad betting offer.

Since July 1st, you have not been able to bet or place high amounts in any online betting shops or casinos in Germany. The online gambling law has been live since 1.7. Bwin has guaranteed not to voluntarily lower the limits. It is the law now

I'd say you managed to bet over 1000 simply because they didn't implement the restrictions in time or maybe there was some bug, because it was a new feature. But according to what you're describing, they realised it quite soon.

When I recently contacted bwin.de's live chat about the limit, I was told that the limit had been changed to 1 euro for me and that this could change again at any time.

Then I got the tip that I have NO limit with slots. There I could play and bet whatever I want. I don't care about slots.

I tried to deposit 2000 euros for the test. I was forwarded to my bank without any problems.

I can't do anything with a bookmaker like that and such sudden limits.

Let's see how it will be at bet365. I am about to reactivate my betting account there.

To avoid misunderstandings:

I "only" entered that I would like to make a deposit of 2000 euros via instant transfer. I was then forwarded to the bank login and logged in.

In the last step of the TAN verification, I canceled because I didn't want the 2000 euros to be forwarded to bwin.

Ah, then it's fine. I thought you deposited 2000. That sounds like quite a lot especially when you just wanted to test it 🙂

did you win by chance? I've heard something similar from Tipico after players have won either regularly or well. something like "we know the best betting strategies" - youtuber even said in a general sense: how do you know that you are a bad (sports betting) player? you still have an account with Tipico & Co and there is no stake limit.

The first bets were practically unlimited and suddenly the extreme limits came. That was also the reason why I left bwin at the time.
