Hello, cool question!
Crypto casinos can be convenient because deposits and withdrawals are often faster, and some players like the added privacy. On the other hand, safety depends heavily on the operator itself and the privacy may not suit everyone. For example, some crypto casinos are well-known and licensed, while others may offer weaker player protection or poor dispute handling.
So the main question is not, I would say, "crypto or not," but whether the casino itself is trustworthy.
What do you think about this?
I have joined a few, I would say, be careful. Read reviews, especially on Trustpilot. The most recent one I joined was Jackbit.io. I deposited 100 USDT and played roulette, betting mainly on 5 double streets. I wasn't interested in any bonuses and I thought I would have to play through my deposit 1x. Once I had played through my deposit I was slightly in profit and decided to withdraw. My withdrawal was rejected because I hadn't played enough at minimum odds of 1.30. How are you meant to calculate the odds on roulette when placing multiple bets? There was no mention of this in their terms, but after speaking to live chat, they wouldn't budge. I played some blackjack and lost my profit and a bit more, but managed to complete my withdrawal. Reading reviews was concerning and some people are a lot worse off than I was, losing significant sums.
Just one more thing. I have noticed that some restrict the allowed coverage on roulette. If you like high coverage roulette systems, you won't be able to use them. They restrict you to a maximum coverage of 2 dozens, so you won't be able to use 5 double streets or romanovsky. I noticed this on Instant Casino (instant-casino45.com). They allow you to play with fun money without joining, otherwise you would normally only discover this once you have joined and deposited.
