My bank wasn't having any of it even though I had gambiling blocks and international transaction blocks on my card they won't except responsibility as they said I authorised the transactions. Even though they where fraudulent and they used fraudulent means to override the system to obtain funds

How did you get in contact with Enygma Sas? Or did you do a chargeback though your bank? Thanks

Hey! Sadly, it was directly through my bank. Told them I bought gift cards and they didn’t work in my country/never arrived. They refunded me in 24 hours.

Not sure about discord etc.

I think going through the chargeback option is the best way forward now. Reading through the Visa and Mastercard terms and conditions on top of the chargeback rules and regulations regarding merchant codes. It appears that certain banks are reluctant to follow through the chargeback simply because of a lack of understanding around the subject, which is ironic but understandable.

You just need to simplify it, services not received and its for them to prove that they provided a service to you. If they so much as dare to challenge the chargeback you can then hit them with the Visa and Mastercard guidelines such as 12.7 Incorrect Codes. Which has a penalty of £25,000 per transaction with an incorrect code.

Followed by standing your ground as to no services received and you will win.

It will never get to a point where they go to arbitration because they will be fu@ed.

Who do you bank with? What did you actually say to them?

Just said I purchased giftcards online from alottoplay.com (it’s a front for some gambling websites). Said they didn’t work. They asked for me to prove I asked for a refund - I did on live chat, they obviously said no refunds. TSB then charged back!

Sandander. I have just been on phone with them and challenged them to the charge back. They said that lots of websites use various merchants I said not gambiling sites like dating merchants and books ect. It's bloody money laundering and it's all registered to same company. Now are you going to do something about it? As you allowed the transaction to go through as I had blocks ony cards so I also mentioned the 21.7 incorrect codes. So they have done a charge back for every transaction but I don't if it will go through as its sandander. If they don't sort it I will take them. To the FO

Well done for standing your ground and referring to the visa and mastercard directly, it ties there hands and they then need to go ahead with the chargeback. The good thing is that if the third party does dispute it, it opens a can of worms for them so it is not in their best interest. How much did you chargeback for? Was it just the one transaction?

Any update?

I received a response today from Curve bank. I also spoke at length to a friend of mine who works mid level at a bank. Curve said to me that they have gone ahead with the chargeback request for 12 payments totalling £8000. They stated that they had to talk to someone at mastercard regarding the regulations and that they were interested. Nevertheless chargeback initiated. Spoke to my friend who stated that if there is any pushback then the offshore casino will have to declare themselves and the bank will have to report them to the NCA, FCA and UKGC which will go after the casinos as opposed to the vulnerable players. From a legal point there is zero that the casinos can do to players who they have defrauded and targeted. I urge everyone to read the Visa and Mastercard rules, speak to your bank and contact action fraud with the full story and get a reference number. Its up to you if you want to contact the merchants to give them an option to refund, but especially in the UK the rules are clear and in your favour.

Three questions.

My first question.

Has anyone had success with a chargeback from a Swedish bank? I have been waiting a month for Swedbank's response.

Has anyone had success with Grotobook/mydates?

Last question. Can you make a chargeback from Revolut if it explicitly says "Winzie" on the transaction, if the answer is yes. How do you go about making a chargeback on Revolut? I can't really find my way around the app.

Yes - I charged back with Revolut but then they sadly closed my account. You just click the transaction I recall? Or ask on the chat.

I need help with MYDATES too! I contacted Grotobook and MyDates but they said it isn’t them and it’s a front

No I gave the casino the opertunity to give me the deposits back from.when I requested account closure and they ignored my request and allowed me to deposit 1400£ in less than 12 hrs I played for 24hrs straight until I fell asleep in that 24hr period and £700 of total dead spins, I only ever play 1 game on any site big bass splash keeping it reel so I am very knowledgeable on how game plays. I was playing €1.05 a spin as I said €700 of dead spins so I knew something was up as I should have definetly got a bonus as the bonus extra was on

I came out of game only to find I wasn't even logged in I was seething when I logged back in the wins where so low pittance on bonus round 0.70 2.40 and 8.90 9.20. When I found out they didn't have a licence and the bank flagged these weird transactions and they never closed my account after I wrote an email telling them. I had serious health issues and suffer from. Mental heath and to shut my account straight away and they didn't. They are illegally committing a breach of their licence and I want my deposits back as they took. Money by fraudulent activities as I had blocks ony account they ignored my numerous emails after a number of attempts. I even linked the emails together with the merchants customer service that I found and they never responded either. So 5hey had their chance to rectify the situation. So it's now all of them.

I totally understand your frustrations. It seems Santander has now processed your chargeback request so this should all go smoothly you just need to be patient. I dont think you will get any issues but should something come up go to your GP for the mental health side of things so its on the record so if there is any push back you can complain to the Financial Ombudsman Service who will force Santander to do the chargeback due to your vulnerability. You have three months to bring any chargeback disputes at a minimum. You need to be protected by these rogue casinos and your bank needs to protect you.

For what reason do you think you should be able to make a chargeback if it says Winzie on the transaction? Or I mean, why are you even asking the question…
