EMU CASINO changes Payments Provider and resultant issues for UK players

I've been a happy VIP player at Emu casino for some time and was until recently able to make deposits using my visa card. About a month ago the banking page appearance changed and I suddenly had to start entering my visa card details manually every time I tried to deposit which were constantly failing. Emu support advised only after I enquired that they no longer accept card deposits from UK players and that I had to use an e-wallet option. In the UK e-wallets dont seem to allow deposits to fund gambling accounts. So I was in effect unable to continue to play at Emu. I was however really annoyed when they gave me a birthday bonus this week which I built to a £500 credit and when I tried to withdraw, they said I needed to use an ewallet a there was a malfunction with the bank transfer intergration in the change over to their new provider..but I cant use an ewallet to withdraw if its not linked to my account via a deposit.....so I ended up playing away the funds and closing my account. But I wanted to make other UK players at Emu aware of the issue.

Thank you for sharing your experience. You should've asked them for wire transfer. That would probably work.

They didnt offer me any other options, the bank transfer option was initially provided but when I filled in all my bank details they reversed the withdrawal and told me that they had an issue with the banking intergration and could only accept ewallet transactions from me.

You said that you couldn't use ewallet if it's not linked to your account, but if you used the ewallet to make a min. deposit and then requested a withdrawal back to it, then it should work. The problem is that you already played away the funds as you mentioned 😕

The ewallet won’t allow me to deposit to a gambling site at all, probably to do with UK restrictions

Yes. I'd say that should be the reason as well 😕

Then what do you mostly use for deposits in online casinos? Which method?
