I think in some cases it could play a key role. Especially if there are any problems, you can always turn to the license if it's in your country, which can make it all the more meaningful. Because, as you know, some licenses don't take it that seriously and you might not even get a response if you wrote to them saying you had an issue. So I recommend playing in casinos licensed in your country.
