Hi, everyone.

Would like to warn all potential users that LyraCasino are scammers. Despite them having good rating here, reality is a bit different.

For the first time in my 20+ gambling experience i had situation that sports bet was voided without even providing any legitimate reason for that. But that is understandable as they did not had anything to provide. Bet was voided based on their terms point 1.2.15 which states:"Before an Event starts, the Company reserves, at its own discretion, the right to void or cancel part of or the full bet even after its acceptance without providing any reason to the customer."

This means they can void whichever bet they want as long as event have not started. So not obvious mistake in odds, typo mistake, reversed odds or whatever might be legitimate reason for bet to voided but just like that, because we can.

And what is the most outrageous thing, is that my bet was accepted manually, meaning it was checked by sportsbook trader/risk team and then accepted (as there was no reason for it not to be accepted) as odds were the same and even worse than bet365, betano, sbobet etc.

So LyraCasino manually accepted my bet but then voided it just because they did not like it. Sometime such voiding happens if there is huge odds movement afterwards but even that was not the case. There was no odds movement in market leading operators nor in others.

I understand that by terms they can do it, but this is super unfair towards users and i doubt such practice deserves casino to be ranked as trusted.

So for any gambler out there. If you planned to play at LyraCasino, then don't as your money will not be in safe hands, nor will be your bets.

I really appreciate your warning and efforts. There is, however, an important thing I have to add, so I hope you don't mind:

The Safety Index is solely calculated for the casino and has no relation to sportsbooks. I would like to stress out that expecting the same lever of safety in their sports betting branch might be a bad call.

Perhaps you would like to post this warning on forums focused on sportsbetting that could really address the most impacted community.

I also noticed an explanation saying the bet was cancelled before the match started. I expect the bet amount was returned to your account; is that so?
