Katsubet.com Emailing Promotions then saying Not Valid

This has to be the most annoying thing in online casino gaming, it is for sure one of my biggest pet-peaves.

You register at a casino based on some kind of welcome offer. They show you the welcome offer on the splash screen before you register. Then after registration they tell you that the offer is no longer valid or you didn't use the right link or something.

How about this one though, I think it's both worse, as well as a violation of the rules.

The casino emails you a promotion like:

file

And then says:

file

In case you can't see he said:

Unfortunately this promo offer is not available for you because it is for a player who registered via special affiliate link.

Then later in the day I get another email from them:

file

And he says:

file

I know its small to see so here is a cut and paste:

Let me inform you, that this bonus is an offer provided by our partners only for those players who have signed up with the particular link. To my regret, your account is not eligible to get this bonus.

I replied with:

Ok but are you not understanding YOU sent me both of those emails, not some partner

Folks, don't put up with this kind of thing. Be sure to call them out on it and demand they make it right. False advertising and promotion is illegal.

Hello,

allow me to explain that each offer contains a button called "play now" or "claim now" or "claim bonus" in your case. You just have to click or tap it to access the bonus using the correct link.

That's all. 🙂

Another thing is, that some offers are only for newly registered players (these are called welcome bonuses), hence you have to register using the provided link, but if you already registered the account before, you won't get the bonus either.

Radka I don't think you read the post I made very well.

I know how to claim a bonus. They said both of these were not available to me even though they themselves emailed them to me.

When they are emailing you a promotion and then not honouring it something is not right there.

Fever905,

you're wrong.

the chat screen shows this answer: "for those players who have signed up with the particular link"

Well, I guess that you have not signed that way.

I'm sure that such promotions are sent to thousands of players each time not just to you. In a perfect world, such promotions would be personalized and carefully selected for each player separately, sadly the standard is usually quite different. Once your email is in the database you will most likely receive promotions. I agree that this is not a good point for the casino, but it may just happen. I think that it is truly pointless sending a "starter" bonus to the player who has already registered on the site because such bonuses are most likely only available for the first registration... And again - it explains why you did not get the bonus.

Try to unsubscribe or ask the casino each time you receive such an offer, or ignore these marked as "starter" or "welcome" bonuses 🙂.
