Just a little update. The Mernov Betriebsgesellschaft mbH does not exist anymore. It's now a Joint Venture between Gausselmann Group (Merkur) and Novomatic called DGGS Deutsche Gesellschaft für Glücksspiel mbH. This new company has the German License and will be used by Novomatic and Merkur (and their other Brands) for online casinos and sport bets.

My guess is they created the company because both Gausselmann Group and Novomatic are being investigated for different issues. Gausselmann being in the Panama papers and Novomatic bribed swiss politicians are just 2 of them. Not the best conditions when applying for a licence

For me this casino is done. If you make the first deposit, the 100% bonus will be credited, everything ok. But when it comes to the 50 free spins, the message comes up: You cannot currently play with a bonus because you have to verify yourself first. I've tried that too, but it doesn't work. The chat is not available, nor do I receive any responses to my emails asking for clarification. The whole thing has been going on for 3 weeks now and I will unsubscribe again because I can do without this customer service!

After many attempts(deposits)in this casino the games are like dead.They are not a casino but purely a collection company.....and legal.

The casino is very unreliable when it comes to withdrawals. The page says 24 hour processing time. Unfortunately, the payout has not been processed in time for the 3rd time (€800 still open). If you have any questions, you only get standard answers that there is a lot to do... Definitely shouldn't happen at a casino with a German license... I'm curious when I'll get my money paid out...

No, it's actually quite the opposite. We are forced to hide DE-licensed casinos due to German law enforced by GGL.

I'm happy I do not live in Germany - no offense, the local laws/restrictions are probably meant well but result in a mess.

I believe the law puts German players at a huge disadvantage by applying the cost per spin limitation as far as I know, there are also fees, so from the mathematical perspective, German player Playing in an officially licensed casino has decreased chances to win. That is unfortunate at best. 🙁

I can confirm your statement 100%. German arcades or online casinos are bad. No winnings...fees are way too high...In local arcades there is also a time limit because German players are not allowed to gamble too much. Germany is just bad! I have been playing for 15 years...German democracy :)
