I hope that the ECJ will issue a landmark ruling and not a case-by-case ruling... I am a bit worried that Bill 55 will not be specifically classified as contrary to EU law in the proceedings.

In July (was it July 15?), the Attorney General will deliver his final submissions. We will most likely know more then, and hopefully, a positive direction will emerge.

Nothing's happening on July 10th. The decision won't be made until the end of the year. And even if a decision is made (positive or negative), that doesn't mean we'll see our money. So curb your euphoria. 😏

In my opinion, a decision won't come until the end of the year at the earliest. However, I could imagine that if things go in the direction we hope, significantly more casinos will start settlements in the hope of offsetting some of the interest.

Yes, for those cases that don't yet have enforcement orders and are being conducted in Malta. I could imagine the settlements being possible for those cases.

Well, someone with a legally binding judgment has no reason to enter into a settlement.
