Are players from Austria excluded?!

I just noticed that more and more online casinos no longer accept players from Austria or block their accounts.

Why is that? Is it because the casinos have to have a valid license from Austria to let players from Austria play at all?

As mentioned elsewhere, I've already had myself blocked by many casinos. But now I got 2 emails from casinos that they will block my account on August 15th.

I'd say that it's probably bound to the license, yes.

Let's just say that every player from Austria can sue the casino, simply because it lacks this official license. If I may speculate a bit, I would say that acting like this became quite tempting recently. There were several discussions about it here on the forum:

Several players were causing casinos that they're acting illegally if accept players from Italy, Austria, the UK, and so on, without the proper license.

The second issue may be connected to payment options and the legal administration, I have a feeling that it became slightly harder to verify and provide payments in your country (as well as in Germany) - but that's just my opinion.
