I am submitting a complaint regarding a $1,000 AUD withdrawal from Surge Casino that has remained unpaid since 10 July 2026.
My Surge Casino account is KYC verified. I initially deposited $150 AUD of my own money, and no bonus funds were used. Through playing with my deposited funds, my account balance increased to approximately $2,000 AUD.
On 10 July 2026, I requested a withdrawal of $1,000 AUD.
The withdrawal has still not been processed, and my approximately $2,000 account balance remains visible in my Surge Casino account. I am also currently unable to make another withdrawal.
I have contacted Surge Casino multiple times regarding the delay. The explanation I have repeatedly received is that "bet checks" are being performed or that my account is under review.
Despite the length of this review, Surge has not requested any additional documents or information from me. I have made it clear that I am willing to provide anything reasonably required to complete their checks.
After the issue remained unresolved, I submitted a formal complaint through Surge Casino's website on 17 August 2026. I also followed this up by email on 18 August 2026 so that there would be a written record of my complaint.
In that complaint, I specifically asked Surge to explain:
What checks are being performed.
Why the checks have taken so long.
Whether anything further is required from me.
Why my withdrawal functionality remains restricted.
When my $1,000 withdrawal will be processed and withdrawal functionality restored.
Surge has now responded to my formal complaint.
In its response, Surge acknowledged the $1,000 withdrawal and confirmed that my case remains under review.
Importantly, Surge also stated:
"At this stage, there is no indication that any additional documentation is required from you."
Surge further confirmed that my withdrawal functionality may remain restricted while the review is ongoing and stated that it is unable to provide a specific timeframe for completion or confirm a processing date for the withdrawal.
They have not explained what specifically is being investigated, why the review has taken this long, or provided any estimated completion date.
As of 19 August 2026, approximately 40 days have passed since I requested the $1,000 withdrawal.
I fully understand that casinos may need to conduct legitimate security, KYC, AML or betting checks, and I am willing to cooperate with any reasonable request. However, my account is already KYC verified, Surge has now confirmed in writing that it does not currently require any further documentation from me, and I have not been given any substantive explanation for why the review has continued for this length of time.
I am therefore asking Casino Guru to assist in resolving this matter and obtaining the $1,000 AUD withdrawal currently pending with Surge Casino, as well as clarification regarding the restriction preventing me from withdrawing my remaining balance.
I can provide supporting evidence including:
Screenshot/status of the $1,000 withdrawal.
Screenshot of my approximately $2,000 account balance.
Evidence of my $150 deposit.
Evidence of KYC verification.
Previous correspondence with Surge regarding the "bet checks."
My formal complaint correspondence.
Surge's latest written response confirming that no additional documentation is currently required and that they cannot provide a timeframe for completion.
I am happy to provide Casino Guru with any further information or evidence required to investigate the complaint.
