wagers?

The system knowingly allows continued gameplay while apparently retaining the ability to reverse or confiscate later winnings.

This appears fundamentally unfair and potentially misleading.

4. Contradictory Statements Regarding Legitimate Winnings

Support advised:

"If you continue to play with it it could be confiscated."

This statement is particularly concerning.

The funds in question were generated from accepted wagers placed through SlotLair's systems.

Support has not demonstrated:

Where "confiscation" of legitimate winnings is clearly explained.

Why subsequent wagers were accepted if they were not eligible to generate valid winnings.

Why the system permitted gameplay if the outcome was already predetermined to be limited.

If wagering activity should cease after a maximum win threshold is reached, then the platform should enforce this restriction automatically.

5. Lack of Transparency

At no stage before, during or after gameplay was I:

Notified that a maximum win threshold had been reached.

Informed that I was required to withdraw immediately.

Warned that additional winnings may later be removed.

Given any real-time indication that my balance was subject to correction.

The first indication I received was the removal of approximately £11,000 from my account.

6. Customer Service Concerns

Throughout the conversation, repeated requests for clarification were not adequately addressed.

Specifically:

No clause reference was provided.

No explanation was given as to why wagering remained possible.

No explanation was provided regarding how the "correction" was calculated.

No explanation was given regarding why the platform permits customers to continue betting if winnings above a threshold are not valid.

I was repeatedly directed to a generic terms page rather than being provided with the specific rule relied upon to justify the deduction.

Information Requested

Please provide the following:

A complete account audit covering all activity on 2 September 2026.

The exact amount removed from my balance.

The exact reason for each deduction.

Confirmation of whether the deduction was manual or automated.

Copies of all relevant game provider records.

Copies of all balance adjustment records.

The specific Bonus Terms clause relied upon.

Evidence that I was notified when the maximum win threshold was reached.

Evidence that I was informed I was expected to withdraw immediately.

Confirmation of the regulatory and licensing authority overseeing this dispute.

Requested Resolution

I request:

A full investigation into the £11,000 deduction.

A detailed written response addressing every point raised above.

The restoration of any winnings improperly removed from my account.

Copies of all records relied upon to justify the confiscation of funds.

If a satisfactory response is not received, I reserve the right to escalate this matter to the relevant licensing authority, gambling regulator, alternative dispute resolution service, payment provider and any other appropriate regulatory body.

Yours faithfully,

Ryan

Hello,

Thank you very much for submitting this complaint. I'm sorry to hear about the problem you're experiencing. Please allow me to ask you a few questions to clarify your situation.

  • Could you please send me a screenshot or a link to the bonus you activated and played with?
  • Am I correct in understanding that your complaint concerns a cap applied to the winnings you accumulated using a bonus? It seems that you did not paste the full text of your complaint.
  • Have you made any successful withdrawals from this casino before?
  • Were your winnings capped immediately after you completed the wagering requirements, or was part of your winnings confiscated only later, when you submitted a withdrawal request?

I hope we will be able to help you resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for your reply.

Best regards,

Veronika

Hi Veronika, thank you so much for coming back to me. I've pasted the first part of the complaint below and will have the other request info to you shortly. Ryan

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am submitting a formal complaint regarding the confiscation of approximately £11,000 from my account balance on 2 September 2026, together with the inconsistent, contradictory and unclear explanations subsequently provided by your support team.

I request a full investigation into my account activity and a detailed explanation addressing the concerns outlined below.

Background

On 2 September 2026, I achieved two significant wins whilst playing on SlotLair. Following these wins, my account balance increased substantially.

However, I subsequently observed that approximately £11,000 was removed from my account balance without any warning, notification, transaction explanation or prior indication from the system that such a deduction would occur.

I possess screenshots and video recordings (will be provided upon request) showing:

The progression of my balance.

The point at which the balance increased.

The point at which approximately £11,000 was deducted.

The timing of these events in real time.

When I contacted support, I was initially advised that I had simply "played with all of my money". This statement was later replaced with explanations relating to a "maximum win bonus" and bonus term restrictions.

Key Discrepancies and Concerns

1. Initial Explanation Contradicted Later Explanation

The first response provided by support was:

"As I can see you have played with all of your money."

This explanation suggested the balance reduction was caused by gameplay.

However, later in the conversation, support advised that funds had been "corrected" back to a maximum bonus win amount due to bonus restrictions.

These are two entirely different explanations.

I therefore ask:

Did I lose the money through gameplay?

Or was the money manually or automatically removed by SlotLair due to bonus restrictions?

Both statements cannot simultaneously be true.

2. Undisclosed "Correction" Process

Support repeatedly referred to the balance being "corrected".

I was told:

"The system did correct your amount."

And later:

"The system will only correct your amount."

However, support was unable to identify where players are clearly informed that:

The system will continue to permit betting after a maximum win has been achieved.

Any additional winnings after achieving a maximum win may subsequently be removed.

Funds can be retrospectively reduced by a correction process.

Players are expected to immediately withdraw or risk losing additional winnings.

I specifically requested the relevant section of the Bonus Terms and Conditions.

No clause number, section reference or specific wording was provided.

Instead, I was directed only to the general terms page.

3. Failure to Notify Players When a Maximum Win Has Been Reached

Support stated:

"When you have cleared wagering requirements for it, you should withdraw that amount."

This raises a significant concern.

If a player is expected to withdraw immediately after reaching a maximum win threshold, then:

Why is no automatic notification provided?

Why is no pop-up message displayed?

Why is the player not informed that all subsequent wagering may be invalid?

Why does the system continue accepting wagers?

Thank you for your response and for providing me with the screenshots. I have reviewed the Bonus Terms and Conditions, and this is what I found:

1.7. Cashback is a bonus unless otherwise specified. Any rules that apply to bonuses in general apply to cashback bonuses as well.

1.8.The maximum withdrawal limit from no deposit free spins is 50 EUR or its equivalent. The maximum withdrawal from a no deposit bonus is limited to x10 the bonus amount unless otherwise stated in the bonus offer. An exception can be made for loyal players, and in case of winning, the maximum win amount can be increased. To request a withdrawal, you must fully verify your account and make a minimum deposit.

The maximum withdrawal is limited to 10x the bonus amount, unless otherwise stated in the bonus offer. This means that the maximum withdrawal is calculated as the bonus amount received multiplied by a coefficient of 10 (x10 by default). The maximum withdrawal from deposit Free Spins cannot exceed 10x the bonus amount received from the Free Spins play.

Based on these terms, it appears that winnings from a cashback bonus are subject to a maximum withdrawal limit of 10x the bonus amount.

  • Could you please specify what your account balance was immediately after you completed the wagering requirements for your cashback bonus?
  • Were your winnings reduced immediately after you completed the wagering requirements?
  • Could you also please forward me the communication between you and the casino's customer support regarding the winnings that were deducted from your balance? My email address is veronika.f@casino.guru.
