Case summary

The player from Italy had requested a withdrawal less than two weeks before submitting this complaint. The payment hadn’t been processed yet. He said his selfie had been approved, but his account was still not fully verified and was then blocked before he could withdraw his winnings. The casino later stated that the closure had been due to sportsbook fraud concerns linked to his sports betting activity, while we could not independently assess that evidence because the dispute involved sportsbook timing and fraud investigation. For this reason, we closed the complaint as it fell outside our scope and could not be fairly resolved by us.

Hi CasinoGuru. I requested a withdrawal and was asked to complete the verification process. I submitted both sides of my ID, and they were approved. Then I sent a selfie holding the ID, but it was rejected—possibly due to poor image quality; I understand that. I took another selfie, but nine days have passed, and it is still pending review. And one of the biggest issues is that it is impossible to contact the casino; I have emailed them numerous times but have never received a reply.

Dear MATTEOSS,

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. We are sorry to hear about the issue with your withdrawal and understand your concern. However, please bear in mind that it’s quite usual for withdrawals to take a couple of days or even weeks to get fully processed. This means that it may take some time before your money appears in your account. This delay may be caused by unfinished KYC verification or a high volume of withdrawal requests.
That’s why we advise players to be patient, cooperate fully with casino, and wait at least 14 days after requesting their withdrawals before submitting a complaint.

If your account has been successfully verified, your game history checked, your withdrawal approved by the casino, and you still haven't received your winnings by 14 days since requesting the withdrawal, we will intervene and do our best to help you.
Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

Best regards,
Complaints Resolution Center

I’m sorry to hear about your problem. Please allow me to ask a few questions to better understand the issue.

  • Have you accumulated your winnings with or without an active bonus?
  • For an independent review, please send your ID and the selfie that you sent to the casino to jean.s@casino.guru.
  • Please include in your email all relevant correspondence between you and the casino (live chat or email support)? If it’s more convenient, you may also post screenshots here.

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Hi. They approved my selfie. But the account still isn't verified, and I can't withdraw funds. However, as you suggested, I'll wait a few more days to reach the 14-day mark.

Dear Casino Guru Team,

Following a detailed review, we have confirmed that this complaint does not concern an ordinary KYC delay.

Our sportsbook provider’s Risk and Anti-Fraud Department identified that the player was placing bets based on outcomes that were already known. According to the provider, the player had access to a faster source of information and was able to place the bets before the relevant results were reflected in the sportsbook system.

As a result of this activity, the sportsbook provider officially classified the player’s account under the "Scammer" risk segment. We have attached both the provider’s written confirmation and the account risk classification as evidence.

The verification process mentioned by the player does not change or override the serious fraud findings. KYC approval does not validate betting activity or prevent an account from being closed when subsequent sportsbook fraud is detected.

Based on the provider’s findings and our applicable Anti-Fraud Terms, the player’s account has been permanently closed.

This decision is final. We respectfully request that Casino Guru reject and close this complaint, as the player’s claims omit the actual reason for the account closure.

Best regards,

Reybets

I don't understand what I'm being accused of! When I lost my first deposit playing Aviator, I was a good customer then, right?

But when I placed a single $8 bet and won, suddenly I'm a fraudster?

It seems to me that I'm not the one acting like a fraudster here!

If it comes to that, just return my last deposit and we can part ways for good—assuming you're a reputable casino.

Dear MATTEOSS,

Could you please let me know what games did you play to accumulate your current balance in the casino? (slots, live games, betting on sports)

Dear Reybets Casino,

Thank you for joining and for explaining why the account was blocked.

Could you please share the evidence that you mentioned? You can post screenshots here or sent it to jean.s@casino.guru.

I started out playing the Aviator game and lost my initial deposit. Then, I made a second deposit of $80 and placed just one sports bet for $8, which won. After that, I was accused of something I don't even understand. The majority of my current balance consists of that second deposit; effectively, I haven't actually won anything from the casino, considering I lost my first deposit.

Dear MATTEOSS,

Thank you for your patience and for providing the additional information.

After reviewing the case and the information provided by both sides, it has become clear that the account closure and disputed funds are directly related to your sports betting activity. The casino has provided supporting evidence indicating that the betting activity in question, which resulted in your account being blocked, was related to sports betting and was subsequently investigated by its sportsbook provider.

Unfortunately, Casino Guru specializes in online casino complaints and does not have sufficient expertise or insight into sports betting disputes to properly assess matters involving sportsbook bet timing, live-betting data, or sportsbook fraud investigations. Therefore, we are unable to independently evaluate the sportsbook provider’s conclusions or determine whether the action taken against your account was justified.

Please understand that closing the complaint for this reason does not mean that we are confirming the casino’s allegations against you. Rather, the matter falls outside the scope of complaints that we are able to investigate and resolve fairly.

For this reason, we must close the complaint.

I’m sorry that we cannot provide further assistance in this particular case. If you experience an issue related specifically to casino games in the future, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Best regards,

Jean
