Case summary

The player from Sweden requests a refund of €340 in deposits made at Mino Casino after previously closing his account at Rolling Slots due to gambling addiction. He highlights that the casino accepted deposits in violation of their own terms regarding account closure, which should have prevented him from registering. The casino refused to refund him, claiming deposits cannot be returned.

Dear Casino Guru Team,

On May 17, 2025, I permanently closed my account on Rolling Slots due to a gambling problem. Both Rolling Slots and Mino Casino are operated by the same company, GBL Solutions N.V. Their own terms (Section 7.4) clearly state that if a player closes an account due to gambling addiction, they are strictly prohibited from playing on any sister casino under the same license.

Despite this active restriction, Mino Casino allowed me to register and deposit €340. I used my real name, my real address, and the exact same email address . I did not use a VPN or attempt to disguise my identity. Because of their own network exclusion rules, this account should never have been opened and the deposits should never have been accepted in the first place.

When I requested a refund, their risk team refused on August 28, 2026, simply claiming that played deposits cannot be returned. The casino cannot hide behind generic terms after failing its fundamental duty of care. More importantly, this creates an unfair one-sided situation: had I won, the casino would have inevitably voided my winnings and closed the account during verification by pointing to my active exclusion. The casino cannot keep my money when I lose while reserving the right to void winnings if I win.

I am requesting a full refund of my €340 in net deposits.
