Dear CasinoGuru Team,

I am contacting you because I am currently experiencing significant problems with an online casino and require your assistance. Specifically, the provider is refusing to permanently close my gaming account, even though I have explicitly stated that I suffer from gambling addiction and therefore require a permanent ban.

I first contacted the provider by email on August 15, 2026, and requested the closure of my gaming account. At that time, I had not yet explicitly mentioned my gambling addiction. In response, I was asked for the reason for the account closure and subsequently received various offers and bonuses. Unfortunately, this tempted me to continue playing.

On August 21, 2026, I explicitly informed the provider that I suffer from gambling addiction and therefore wish to have my account permanently blocked. At the same time, I filled out the self-exclusion form requested by the provider and sent it as an attachment.

This form was rejected by the provider. Among the reasons given was that I hadn't entered a phone number. Furthermore, I had explicitly selected "permanent" for the desired duration. The provider then informed me that I couldn't specify "permanent" myself, but had to choose one of the predefined options, with the maximum blocking period being only 30 days.

I repeatedly and clearly stated to the provider that I requested a permanent ban due to my gambling addiction. Despite this, my request was rejected and my account remained open.

On August 29, 2026, I filled out the form again and this time selected a 30-day ban, simply to ensure my account was blocked at all. At the same time, I explicitly stated in several further emails that I actually wanted a permanent account ban due to my gambling addiction. I also gave the provider two days to convert the ban to a permanent one.

However, the provider rejected this request again. I was informed that a permanent ban was not possible according to their guidelines. Instead, I was told that if I had existing gambling problems, I should seek professional help and would have to request another ban after the 30-day period. According to the provider, this would mean I would have to fill out a form every month and request another 30-day ban each time.

I find this procedure extremely problematic, especially given my explicitly disclosed gambling addiction. If a customer explicitly informs the provider that they are a gambling addict and therefore wish to be permanently excluded from gambling, I find it incomprehensible that this customer should have to take action again after a short exclusion period and request another one. This gives a gambling addict the opportunity to deposit funds and continue gambling after the exclusion period has expired.

During the relevant period, I deposited and lost a total of €615. I believe that the provider should have taken my repeated indications of my gambling addiction and my explicit requests for a permanent ban seriously and should have implemented appropriate measures to protect players.

I can document the entire process with screenshots of the email correspondence and proof of payment. Due to the file size, I cannot upload these documents in full here, but I would be happy to provide them to you via email.

I therefore request that CasinoGuru review my case and assist me in resolving the matter with the provider. Specifically, I would like my account to be permanently blocked, preventing any further deposits or gaming activity, and ensuring I no longer receive any promotional or advertising emails. Furthermore, due to the exceptional circumstances, I demand a refund of the €615 I lost during this period.

I am aware that gambling losses are generally not automatically refundable. However, in this case, it is not simply a matter of ordinary gambling losses, but rather that I explicitly informed the provider about my gambling addiction and repeatedly requested a permanent ban, which the provider has failed to implement.

I would be very grateful if you could review the case and assist me. I can provide you with the relevant evidence via email at any time.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Best regards
