Case summary

The player from the United Kingdom faced significant delays in withdrawing his funds from Doctor Spins Casino, having requested the payout over a month prior. He questioned the legitimacy of the casino's license and expressed concerns over the handling of his personal information. He believed the site was a scam, felt deceived, and contemplated further action to recover his money. The Complaints Team attempted to assist but ultimately marked the complaint as 'unresolved' due to the casino's lack of cooperation and absence of a valid license, emphasizing the need for players to choose casinos based on reviews and ratings to avoid similar issues in the future.

This site is highly questionable. Firstly, the Master License 854151 that it claims to have is completely useless. It is not a license which holds any legal weight and/or Doctor Spins Casino is not regulated by any gambling authority. What is more puzzling is that Doctor Spins claim that this license was issued by authorities in Chrisoupoli, Cyprus. There is no such place called Chrisoupoli in Cyprus. There is however a place called Chrisoupoli in Greece and obviously this is a separate sovereign nation.

I have struggled to get a sum of money withdrawn, above the minimum threshold of £85 and just over £100 and they have refused to pay. Most probably, like many other players I suspect, the withdrawal is listed as being status identified 'awaiting' and the reason is 'user request'.

They took photographs of my passport and a QR code picture of my face and I am unsure whether these will be used for illegitimate means or not. It is that concerning.

How it can take any online casino 21 WORKING DAYS to pay out, especially for sums under £150 is quite remarkable.

I have made a dreadful mistake here and though they still have a further seventeen working days to send my money to my bank account, I suspect that this will NEVER happen.

I am most definitely of the opinion that this is a scam site and they are quite simply just stealing people's money, through the deposits that are made.

Another point worth mentioning is that, according to their terms and conditions, they can change the said 'terms and conditions' without giving prior notice to the account holder, or good reason.

This company have seriously angered me, on two counts. Firstly, what I consider to be theft and secondly the deception and premeditated ideas they have used to entice people to their alleged casino.

This is something that has angered me that much, I will pursue this 'mob' until I find them registered somewhere where law enforcement will act and I will also do everything within my power to get this site and all of its sister sites closed down (bear in mind, it has many sister sites, so check).

This is a true and accurate representation of this company and I urge everyone to neither register, nor deposit their money. Of course, should I be eventually paid my outstanding balance, I will post it on here, but I will not be holding my breath.

One final thought - say you won £1500 on this site and then was waiting for the pay out and it never came. The only thing you would know for sure, is that Doctor Spins Casino would be sitting there, laughing at you. And one final thing, where is this money they are 'stealing' going to. Flash cars, champagne and caviar, or to fund some illegitimate campaign?

Dear MalteseTobias,

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I’m sorry to hear about your problem. Please allow me to ask you a few questions, so I can understand the whole situation completely.

Have you made any successful withdrawals before?

Could you please confirm that you have passed the KYC verification?

Did you accumulate your winnings with or without an active bonus?

Could you please share your communication with the casino regarding the withdrawal? Send emails or chat transcripts to my email at dominika.l@casino.guru, or post screenshots here.

I hope we will be able to help you to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you very much in advance for your reply.

Best regards,

Dominika

There have been no withdrawals on the account. All KYC has been passed and the account is status 'verified'. All winnings were accumulated without the use of any bonuses. There is no chance of copying the 'conversations' between them and I, as there is no history of them (inlike other sites).

Furthermore, there must be a way to stop this 'company' advertising this site as a secure site. It is clearly a scam and I am fearful for people who are in a less fortunate position than I, may have their mental health damaged and perhaps go on to do something else which is far worse, through 'the shame' of being ripped off. Doctor Spins' behaviour is unscrupulous, amoral and most probably illegal. It beggers belief, that they are able to operate in countries (worldwide it seems) with impunity. One more thing, when I asked them where their head office was, to make a complaint, they came back with the answer 'worldwide' and would not offer a country name - they need to be stopped.

Dear MalteseTobias, has the status of your withdrawal request changed?

Could you please provide a screenshot of your withdrawal request?

Have you received any new information from the casino about the withdrawal?

The status is still listed as 'awaiting' and the reason is still the same 'user request'. Now they have blocked the online chat customer services logo and I cannot access them at all.

Dear MalteseTobias, I haven't received the screenshot.

Have you emailed them?

I don't have the facility to do a screenshot, but it just says what I have told you. I have very much reached the conclusion that this is a scam site and they are not going to pay the money. This site and its sister sites needs to be taken down. Check how many other people have been ripped off.

Dear MalteseTobias, do you have any updates regarding the withdrawal?

I have sent them over thirty emails and they have responded to one. They have been fined 280,000 euros on a weekly fine basis. Whether this is to continue week in, week out, I do not know by the KSA in the Netherland. This company are based in Curacao, a small island, part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and part of the ABC islands near Venezuela and is nothing to do with Costa Rica; just like their claims to have their licensing appropriated by some place in Cyprus (which does not exist). I have contacted the Dutch Government as I am determined to bring this lot down. I have now resigned myself to the fact that I have been scammed, though according to Doctor Spins, they still have until around February 4th to pay this money. There is no mention of twenty-one working days in their T&Cs.

I am embarrassed and angry, but will win this battle, though I suspect that I will never see my £87. Where I am perhaps more concerned, is that through this company's bare faced cheek, rudeness and skulldugary, they may hit on a vulnerable person and send that person over the top and coerce them into taking their own life. Money can do strange things to different people. Someone expecting a windfall and then being robbed is bad enough, if that person is vulnerable, it could be the trigger moment.

These people must be stopped and there must be a warning put out there. I have given them enough opportunity to sue me if I am libelling them, but they know that they have no defence as their conduct reeks of suspicious activity and finally, where is all this money going? Fraud? Money laundering? Terrorism? In this very dangerous world that we live in, no chances can be taken; expecially with people's lives! No payment and I suspect there will be no payment.

The withdrawal was made on January 6th and with their 'new rules' - they seem to be making it up as they go along - the money should be in my bank tomorrow. Let's see?????????????????

We would like to ask the casino to reply to this complaint. We are extending the timer by 7 days. If the casino fails to respond in the set time frame, we will close the complaint as ‘unresolved’ which may negatively affect its rating.

This is a complete waste of time. Though it highlights the issue, Trust Pilot should be able to go to the authorities to get the casino shut down, but clearly is unable to do so. What is the point of this site - disengaging, as it is a waste of time.

I have tried to contact the casino repeatedly but had no success. I'm afraid there is not much that can be achieved without cooperation from its side. Since the casino operates without a valid license and doesn't refer to any ADR service, there is no gaming authority to turn to.

I will mark the complaint as "unresolved" in our system. I understand this isn't a satisfactory solution to your issue. However, the decrease in the rating caused by unresolved complaints could help to change the casino's approach. If the casino decides to react, we will reopen the complaint and you will be notified by email.

I can only recommend you choose casinos by their reviews and ratings in the future to avoid situations like this. I am sorry we could not be of more help on this occasion.

Best regards,

Mirka
