Case summary

The player from Ontario had his ChachaBet account closed, with a pending withdrawal request of €1,200 consisting mainly of his own deposit and real-money winnings. Despite repeated requests for a specific reason for the withholding of his funds, ChachaBet did not provide clear explanations or evidence for its actions. He said the balance was built entirely through sports betting over about two weeks, and the account was blocked a few days after he requested the withdrawal, which was later corrected to €1,294. After reviewing the case, we were unable to assess the casino’s investigation fairly because the issue involved sports-betting activity beyond our expertise, so the complaint was closed without a decision on the merits.

My ChachaBet account was closed with a pending withdrawal request of €1200 outstanding. Of this, €1,005 is my own deposit plus real-money winnings (no bonus involved at all), and €195 is winnings from a freebet promotion that I fully unlocked per its own stated 1x wagering requirement. Despite repeated direct requests, ChachaBet has never provided a specific, consistent reason for withholding any of this.

FINANCIAL BREAKDOWN

- €320: my original deposit.

- ~€685: real-money winnings from bets placed using that deposit — no bonus funds involved.

- €195: winnings from a €190 freebet promotion, subject to a 1x wagering requirement, which I fulfilled in full compliance with the promotion's own terms.

I am not contesting the account closure itself — only the withholding of this balance.

TIMELINE

1. I had a €1200 withdrawal request pending. My account was then closed. Via live chat, I was told only: "Your account was closed following an internal review and a final management decision... the decision regarding your account status is final." No specific reason was given.

2. I stated the majority of the balance was my own deposited funds and asked for its return. I was redirected to email support with no substantive answer.

3. I filed a formal email complaint (Ticket ID: 7HF6VZ) asking for the specific clause breached.

4. ChachaBet's reply cited three broad clauses — 9.1 (Criminal Activity), 9.2 (Collusion and Cheating), 9.3 (Fraudulent Activity) — without specifying which applies or what conduct triggered it. Note: 9.2 concerns card-game collusion (chip dumping, hand-sharing) and cannot apply, as I do not play poker or multiplayer card games on this platform.

5. I asked directly: which clause, what conduct, and (if 9.1) what specific transaction raised suspicion. The response was: "Unfortunately, we are unable to disclose any further information regarding this matter." No clause, conduct, or evidence was ever provided, across three separate written requests.

WHAT I AM REQUESTING

At minimum, release of the €1,005 that is unambiguously my own deposit and non-bonus winnings. For the remaining €195, I am requesting confirmation of what, if anything, disqualifies winnings that were unlocked in full compliance with the freebet's own stated terms.

I have complete chat and email transcripts documenting all of the above (Ticket ID: 7HF6VZ), available on request.

Hello,

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I’m sorry to hear about your negative experience with ChachaBet Casino.

Please allow me to ask you a few questions so I can better understand the situation.

  • Could you please advise how long you were a player at the casino and when exactly your account was blocked?
  • What games did you play to accumulate your current balance in the casino? (slots, live games, betting on sports)

I hope we will be able to help you resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you very much in advance for your reply.

Best regards,

Tomas

Hello Tomas,

Thank you for looking into this.

I was a player at ChachaBet for about 2 weeks, from August 12th to August 27. My account was blocked on August 27, 2026, a few days after I submitted a withdrawal request.

One correction to the amount: I've since confirmed the actual withdrawal request was for €1294, not €1200 as stated in my original complaint.

The balance came entirely from sports betting, not slots or live games. Specifically:

- €320 was my own deposit, wagered on sportsbook bets.

- Approximately €779 was real-money winnings from those bets, using my own deposited funds — no bonus involved.

- €195 was winnings from a €190 freebet promotion (sportsbook), which required a 1x wagering condition that I fulfilled per the promotion's own stated terms.

So of the €1294 total, €1,099 has no bonus involvement whatsoever, and the remaining €195 is bonus-derived but was unlocked in full compliance with that bonus's own terms.

I'm happy to answer any further questions.

Hi Tomas,

Just following up — wanted to check on the status of this case. I answered your questions above about a week ago (timeframe as a player, games played, and the corrected €1294 amount). Let me know if you need anything further from me.

Thanks

Thank you for your reply, crypticstark.

I’m sorry to say I don’t have good news. If your account was blocked after placing only sports bets, it’s likely the casino detected activity that prompted that decision. Because we don’t have sufficient expertise or insight into this area of online gambling, we are unable to interpret the casino’s investigation or their explanation accurately and therefore cannot judge this case fairly. This does not mean we consider your complaint unjustified; we are simply unable to evaluate it properly. I understand how frustrating this must be for you, and I apologize that we cannot be of more help.

After reviewing the available information, we must close this complaint. I’m sorry we could not resolve this for you. Please don’t hesitate to contact us in the future if you encounter issues with any online casino, and we will do our best to assist.
