Case summary

The player from the United States claims that Casino Brango confiscated $4,500 in winnings due to a supposed violation of a $20 Maximum Bet rule on the promotional code BACK100BR. He argues that the promotion explicitly stated "no rules" and “no hidden catches,” which he believes invalidates the casino's actions. He seeks intervention to have his winnings returned.

TITLE: Confiscation of $4,500 Winnings via Misleading "No Rules" Promotion - Casino Brango

CASINO USERNAME: woernercj86

DISPUTED AMOUNT: $4,500

SUMMARY OF DISPUTE:

Casino Brango confiscated $4,500 in legitimate winnings claiming a $20 Maximum Bet rule violation on promo code BACK100BR. I contend that the confiscation is invalid based on the explicit language of both the promotional offer and the casino's General Terms & Conditions.

KEY EVIDENCE & CONTRACTUAL ARGUMENTS:

1. General T&C Clause:

Casino Brango’s General T&Cs state that standard deposit coupon rules (including max bet limits) apply "unless specifically stated otherwise."

2. Promotional Offer "Specifically Stated Otherwise":

On July 17, 2026, Casino Brango sent an exclusive promotional email for code BACK100BR that explicitly stated:

- "⚡ No Rules — Pure play, no extra steps, no hidden catches."

- "💰 No Withdrawal Cap — Every dollar you win is yours. No ceiling, no limit."

Promising "NO RULES" and "NO HIDDEN CATCHES" directly satisfies the condition of "specifically stating otherwise."

3. Deceptive Interpretation:

The casino is attempting to enforce a hidden restriction by claiming that "specifically stated otherwise" requires hyper-specific wording not outlined in their own T&Cs, despite sending an ad promising "no hidden catches."

4. Software Enforcement & Settlement Attempt:

- The casino's cashier system validated the promo code and allowed bets without software restrictions or warnings.

- Brango offered a $100 token if I reduced my balance below $1, which I explicitly rejected. My initial deposit balance remains untouched in my account.

REQUESTED RESOLUTION:

I request Casino Guru’s intervention under its Fair Gambling Codex to require Casino Brango to honor their "specifically stated otherwise" promotional terms and release my confiscated $4,500 winnings.

Hello,

Thank you very much for submitting this complaint. I'm sorry to hear about the problem you're experiencing. Please allow me to ask you a few questions to clarify your situation.

  • Is the bonus still active in your account, or have you already completed the wagering requirements?
  • Did you request a withdrawal of your winnings before the casino confiscated them due to an alleged breach of the maximum allowed bet?
  • Did you see any additional terms or conditions attached to the bonus when you activated it in your casino account?
  • Could you please forward me the full, uncropped email containing the bonus offer at veronika.f@casino.guru?

I hope we will be able to help you resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for your reply.

Best regards

Veronika

Thank you for your email. However, there seems to have been a misunderstanding. I need you to forward me the original promotional email, rather than a screenshot of the offer.

Please also forward me any communication you had with the casino customer support regarding the confiscation of your winnings. I appreciate your cooperation.

Hello berrymihawkinher,

I'm Michal, and I have taken over your complaint. I have reviewed this case, and I will reach out to the casino to gain further insight into this issue and to explore how I might be able to assist.

We would like to invite Brango Casino to join the conversation.

Dear Brango Casino,

While I acknowledge that a maximum bet limitation when playing with an active bonus is an industry-standard rule and that players are generally expected to comply with such restrictions, I believe this particular case requires further consideration.

In this instance, the player was using a promotion that was explicitly presented as a "No Rules" bonus:

file

It is therefore understandable that the player would have been led to believe that no additional bonus-related restrictions applied to this promotion, including a maximum bet limitation. Based on the information and evidence currently available, the reason provided for confiscating the winnings does not appear to be fair.

While I acknowledge that each casino is free to determine how it structures and promotes its bonuses, any conditions or restrictions attached to a promotion should be communicated to players clearly and transparently. In this case, it appears that this requirement may not have been sufficiently met.

Therefore, I kindly ask you to clarify why you believe the player should not have reasonably understood a promotion explicitly advertised as a "No Rules - Pure play, no extra steps, no hidden catches bonus. Just spin and win." to be a bonus without additional restrictions such as a maximum bet limit.

I look forward to your clarification.

If there are any relevant circumstances in this case that cannot be disclosed publicly, I would appreciate it if you could share them directly with me at michal.k@casino.guru for independent review.

Thank you in advance.

I understand your concerns. So far, we have been able to address all player complaints with the Brango Casino team; however, in case there is no response from them, feel free to proceed as per their Complaints & Dispute Resolution | Casino Brango

Participation in complaint resolution with an ADR is mandatory for all licensed casinos.

Nevertheless, the casino team still has time to respond according to our complaint resolution policy, and I hope we will be able to clarify the matter.

Dear berrymihawkinher,

A reduction in the casino’s Safety Index rating will be applied once the complaint is formally closed as Unresolved.

I hope this clarifies the process.

Hi berrymihawkinher,

Hi Michael,

Hope you are all well and safe.

Upon checking the account, we found that the player played with the 60% Deposit Bonus on July 22nd. The rules for the bonus were as follows:

Terms & Conditions

Coupon code: BACK100BR

Bonus: 60% (30% on CC) + 100% CB

Wagering: 1x deposit + bonus

Max cashout: None

Minimum deposit: $100

Allowed games: Non-Progressive Slots only

Max bet per hand: $20

Max Bonus: $500

100% CB RULES

2x MCO

1x wagering

Allowed games: Non-Progressive Slots only

Unfortunately, the player placed bets above the maximum permitted amount while playing with the bonus, which was the reason why his winnings were removed. The player placed bets ranging from $30 to $200.

https://casinobrango.com/terms-and-conditions

7.4. Standard Deposit Coupon Rules

f. In the interests of fair gaming, all deposit coupons are limited on the maximum bet allowed to be placed. $/€ 20 is the maximum bet amount allowed, unless SPECIFICALLY stated otherwise in the promotion. Betting above this amount, will result in promotion winnings being voided and removed. The maximum permitted bet amount for Buy Feature games is $/€20. Exceeding this limit may result in the forfeiture of winnings.

There is no bonus without rules at any Casino in the world, and the rules for the mentioned bonus were available to the player after redeeming it on their account.

Additionally, after the wagering was completed, the player received a pop-up message reminding them to check the rules and informing them that the rules remain in full effect until the full amount is withdrawn.

This case was resolved on another, LCB forum, and the player agreed to the resolution and received a $100 Free Chip because the rules were not displayed in the first banner.

Thank you for your understanding!

Kind Regards

I declined the chip multiple times, there was no pop up screen, nothing was ever resolved. You guys even tried saying you never sent the email. You guys also acted like you wouldnt be responding here either im guessing hoping i wouldnt check back. You guys use to be a no max bet on bonus casino i cant be expected to read the t&cs every time i get on Your website especially when the coupon given to me states otherwise. Any other casino would of offered me the money i won that wasnt from over betting but i guess i can just call you instant steal your withdrawal kings.file

His name is also Michal I mean seriously. they just admitted the rules weren't displayed right there in there message because that rule didn't exist for that coupon is why it wasn't displayed and I would like to see where I agreed to that resolution because I even told the moderator she was in bed with you guys for not helping me

file This is from a email they sent after the fact this doesn't look like what they normally have out mind you these are always printed on the coupon unless on the website and when it's on the website it doesn't have the coupon code like that. Coupons don't state terms as the title they literally made this to send to me so they wouldn't have to pay me

And if thats suppose to be a screenshot of my account my avatar is dice not a lion and that looks like a ai magnifying glass i dont have that on my screen also

I have a screen shot of it I will send to michal

Please tell me their safety rating goes way down when they get busted for lying

Dear berrymihawkinher,

Thank you for your response. I understand why the wording of the promotion, particularly "No Rules" and "no hidden catches", together with the casino’s acknowledgement that the rules were not displayed on the initial banner, has raised concerns.

However, I cannot conclude at this stage that the casino deliberately provided false information or fabricated evidence. The casino representative on LCB sharing my first name is merely a coincidence and has no bearing on our independent assessment.

Regarding the casino’s Safety Index, it is not reduced automatically following an allegation. If our investigation concludes that the casino acted unfairly and it refuses to provide an appropriate resolution, the complaint may be closed as Unresolved, which would negatively affect its Safety Index rating. However, this is not the case yet. Moreover, after reviewing your gameplay, you did indeed breach the "general" maximum bet rule, as you have been told; thus, the casino team had reasonable grounds for their actions. However, I would still like to clarify a few things before reaching any conclusion.

In the meantime, I kindly ask you to keep your communication respectful and focused on the relevant facts and evidence.

Dear Brango Casino Team,

Thank you for your response and for outlining the rules you consider applicable to the promotion.

I acknowledge that your general Bonus Terms establish a maximum bet of $20. However, the central issue is whether this restriction was communicated clearly and transparently in connection with a promotion expressly advertised as a "No Rules" bonus with "no extra steps" and "no hidden catches".

You stated that the rules were not displayed on the initial banner but became available to the player after the bonus had been redeemed. Kindly forward me evidence supporting this to michal.k@casino.guru.

Additionally, the player quite strongly denied that they agreed to the resolution and received a $100 Free Chip because the rules were not displayed in the first banner.

I would appreciate it if you could reconsider the matter and let me know whether a more suitable offer can be made available.
