Vault Cracker is set in the high-stakes world of the international sneak thief.

Combining an art style that will remind many players of the old Team Fortress games, Vault Cracker has created a world in which the player can plot their ingress, crack the safe, and escape with the loot. Providing they are smarter and faster than the cops.

This light-hearted heist game will appeal to anyone who wants to live out their fantasies of being a Thomas Crown or Danny Ocean.

Graphics, Sounds and Animations

The graphics of this game are good, with a fun art style that is rich with character and depth. The background scene is a mess of blueprints and safecracking tools, while on the reels various bits of loot wait for the player to "liberate" them.

The symbols all have their own animations and the win and spin visuals and sounds are all on theme and fun.

The soundtrack has a bit of sixties funk to it, that draws on a vision of thieves that was created by movies like The Italian Job and Danger: Diabolik.

Overall, the visuals do a good job of building the world of the Vault Cracker slot.

Gameplay

Players will load up Vault Cracker to find a fairly standard five-reel slot with three rows and 20 win lines.

Once the player starts playing they will begin to encounter the Safecracker feature whereby Safe symbols are opened when a Safecracker symbol lands. Each Safe symbol that is opened, wins the player a randomized, instant cash prize.

The maximum win on any given round is capped at 1,000x the player's bet; this reflects the slot's relatively low volatility.

Wilds, Bonuses and Free Spins

There is no Wild symbol in Vault Cracker.

The Bonus game is triggered by a Heist Master symbol landing on the middle reel. When this happens, all Safe symbols are locked in place and a respin is awarded.

The respin only has blank symbols and Safe symbols on it. If a Safe symbol lands, it is also locked in place and another spin is awarded. If no Safe symbol lands, then the Bonus is over.

The value of the Safe symbols is totted up and awarded to the player. If one of the Safe's contains a Diamond, the Diamond awards the player a multiplier of 2x to 10x which is applied to all the other Safe symbol wins.
