The player from the United Kingdom is dissatisfied because he’s registered with gamstop.co.uk and he believes he shouldn’t be allowed to play. Additionally, his winnings were capped to 10x of his last deposit. The player accidentally played with a bonus, which was granted to him automatically. He missed the term, in which the casino points out, that players have to request the cancellation of bonuses.

Since you have chosen casino without a license, the Gamstop scheme, unfortunately, can’t be applied here. Please could you clarify, if you have informed the Rufus Casino about your gambling problem before placing a deposit? If yes, please forward the relevant communication to kristina.s@casino.guru.


But I see another problem here. I checked the T&Cs, and this is what I found:

"10.4. If the cumulative amount of a player's deposit is equal to or less than € 200, the player will be limited to withdrawing up to x10 the amount of the most recent deposit. The provision is also enforceable if additional deposits are made by the player with the aim to circumvent this clause."

I would like to emphasize, that according to our Fair Gambling Codex https://casino.guru/fair-gambling-codex-for-casinos#win-limits, we consider this rule to be unfair and predatory, only when it’s applied to a real money game, however, we accept bonus T&Cs that restrict the maximum cash out from a bonus play. Please, could you confirm, that you have accumulated winnings from a real money play and didn’t claim any bonuses?

I didn’t take out a bonus I can show you the email where they give you £9 without you asking so I shouldn’t be under any bonus rule

Hello Jonathan,

I checked the casino's Bonus T&Cs (https://www.rufuscasino.com/bonus-terms-conditions/?lang=en) and I found this:

"2. All Deposit Bonuses will automatically be credited to the player upon a successful Deposit.

3.Canceling a Bonus by players can be made by contacting support 24/7. The Bonus can be canceled as long as the player did not make a single bet.

4.If a player wishes not to receive an automatic Bonus by the system, the player may do so by contacting support 24/7."


Unfortunately, some casinos offer bonuses automatically and you have to ask the support to cancel them. If you received and played with a bonus (even if this wasn't intentional), I am affraid there is nothing we could do, because casinos can limit the cash out from bonuses.
