Curaçao Interactive Licensing (CIL)
One of the four Master License Operators for the jurisdiction, Curacao Interactive Licensing has the authority to independently grant licenses and ensure online casinos under its supervision are adhering to any related conditions and regulations.
Unfortunately, C.I.L. has no presence online and information about them is very scarce, so it is unclear exactly what is required of licensees for them to be able to operate. There also appears to be little attention to responsible gambling procedures, and no formal complaints procedure for players. This casts a lot of doubt on the safety and reliability of casinos operating under this license, and so players should be careful about which sites they choose to play at.
How to check a C.I.L. license
As the C.I.L. does not have a website, there is no list of authorized operators available. Instead, some (not all) C.I.L. licensed casinos display the authority's logo and a link to a license certificate. This is usually just an image that has been added by the casino themselves and can have any URL as one is not provided by the authority. Consequently, this can easily be falsified and the only way to completely guarantee the authenticity of this license is to contact the C.I.L. directly.
Submitting a Complaint
The only information with regards to contacting the regulator is an e-mail address which can be found on any C.I.L certificate: info@curacaolicensing.com or helpdesk@curacaolicensing.com.
Self-Exclusion
There is currently no way to self-exclude from all Curacao licensed casinos at once. You must self-exclude at each casino individually. As the regulator does not specify any guidelines regarding player exclusions, a player's only options are to check the casino's website or contact the casino operator and ask them for instructions.
