Play’n Go sticks with well-worn territory for the design of Gold of Fortune God. The slot is set high above the mountains, with a giant red temple sitting in the background. The reels are encased in part of the temple, with a regal gold and red border.
This backdrop is brought to life with a stunning art style, with Play’n Go delivering one of their most impressive Asian-themed offerings to date. The symbols consist of imagery from across the continent, with a Budha, a giant money tree, and a giant golden dragon being among the game’s highest-paying symbols.
Gold of Fortune God opts for a basic set-up. The slot uses a five-reel, three-row game-grid, with 243 ways to win on every spin. Wins are secured when players land matching combinations of three or more on consecutive reels, starting on the leftmost reel.
The stake is adjusted using the +/- on the scale under the reels. The betting range may alter depending on which casino you use.
There are several bonuses on offer in Gold of Fortune Gold. If you land a dragon in a silver ring, you will trigger the Dragon’s Fortune bonus, which awards three initial respins. During the round, a Golden Ring appears and remains on the reels until the end of the round.
Only Cash Symbols can land on the reels. Whenever these land, the respin count is reset to three. If you land one of these in the Golden Ring, you will win either the Mini, Minor, or Major jackpot. These are worth 20x, 50x, and 500x, respectively. If you fill the reels with 15 symbols, you will win the Grand Jackpot, which is worth 5,000x your stake.
If you land three Scatters, you will trigger the Kingdom’s Treasure bonus. This comes with two features, the Dragon’s Wheel and Dragon’s Fortune, which are played in that order.
The Dragon’s Wheel will determine a multiplier which is carried into the Dragon’s Fortune bonus. The number of spins of the wheel is determined by the number of triggering Scatters, with three, four, or five rewards one, two or three spins, respectively. You can get a multiplier of up to 30x.
The Dragon’s Fortune round operates in the same way as it would if it was triggered in the base game, only two Golden Rings are on the grid. The Multiplier from the Dragon’s Wheel bonus is also carried over.
Gold of Fortune God has a good math model. It has a maximum win of 6,000x your stake, and an above average RTP of 96.18%.
Play’n Go has rated the game as medium volatility. This is not optimal, with our slot strategy guide recommending high volatility slots.
Gold of Fortune God boasts a beautiful design and a solid RTP, both of which will attract some players.
