Hi all,
I want to highlight an important issue regarding personal data correction under GDPR. I noticed that an online casino had incorrect personal data in my account (name and country). I provided all valid documents proving my correct information and formally requested a correction under Article 16 of the GDPR.
Despite this, the casino refused to update my data, claiming their decision was final. This is a clear violation of my legal right to have inaccurate personal data corrected without undue delay.
If you are dealing with similar issues at online platforms, remember: under GDPR you can escalate to your national Data Protection Authority to enforce your right to rectification.
