Submitting a review

I have now tried 3 times to submit a review of Play Fortuna casino, and all three times I have tried scrolling what I wrote, and lost over two thousand words each time. It just disappears and I have to start all over. There are currently no reviews for that casino so I thought I would relate my recent experience to help Casino Guru with a more accurate picture of things, but I’m getting frustrated at losing everything with a simple touch. Is this an ongoing problem or is it a new issue that has just started occurring since I joined about four hours ago? Should I just submit several two or three hundred word reviews until I feel I have said everything I wanted to say?

Also, why can’t I add a photo of myself to my profile? I tried using one from my photo library but it was placed sideways above my name, and when I tried again I apparently had no photos at all in my library, which is definitely not the case. Am I doing something wrong or is there a problem with a server somewhere or something else like that?

Damn, thanks for the feedback. Are you trying to submit it on mobile or PC? Do I understand it correctly that you just wrote the text and when you try to scroll down, the whole window disappears?

I'm wondering, do you know how to record your screen so you could record everything you're mentioning here and send it to me privately? I'd like to show it to our IT guys.

I’m writing it on my iPhone, and yes that’s pretty much exactly what happened. I scrolled up to check what I had written and when I tried to scroll back down, it vanished and I couldn’t recover anything. I just submitted a much shorter review successfully, but I wanted to say more about the whole experience.

I suppose I could try, but knowing my luck, it will turn out like the knocking sound your car engine makes right up until the mechanic is listening for the noise you told him about. I’ll try adding a photo to my profile again as well and let you know if that works or not.

file This is what was happening with my profile photos. If the photo was not edited with an effect of some kind, it appeared sideways. I have a profile photo I place now.

And the grey haired swami popping up on the screen all the time really screws up the page. How can I get him to stop appearing and maybe just send me a text message?

So have you manage to solve the issue with the profile photo? We'll start testing the casino reviews on mobile. I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow. Anyway, thanks for contacting us regarding this. It's a new feature we have on the website, so there are possible some hidden bugs we need to fix.

We're already figured our how to make sure that the issues with submitting reviews won't happen again in the future. We'll make sure that whenever you accidentally close the window while writing a review, the text will be saved there when you open the window again.

Anyway, it will take few days until the changes will be active, because we need to test it first.

You really need to fix the problem with the casino reviews, it’s still happening and I’m getting very frustrated. Right now I would give Casino Guru a bad review, but you seem genuinely interested in improving, so I’ll stick around for now.

As I already wrote, it will take some time until we fix it. I'll let you know here when it's done. Actually you're the only one who's complained so far so it seems that it works fine for most of the users. We get few new reviews every day and they look fine.

If I were to sit down and write a review in full and not move around with my phone ,or walk away and let the phone screen turn off, my reviews would be submitted without any issues. I put some thought into my reviews and I’m not always able to sit down long enough to write a detailed review. I could dash off a few quick lines and submit them, but I feel that full details are more helpful. I do experience occasional problems with the old man popping up with messages about the newsletter or whatever, so a way to shut that off in my settings would be appreciated, it seems redundant anyway because I signed up for your newsletters in my email. Let me know when you have worked out some more kinks and I’ll try make more time for writing and submitting reviews. You say people send in a few every day, but going through my casino list, I find I have more than two dozen casinos that have no player reviews. Maybe it’s just a void from players in Canada.

Then I believe the problem is that you let your screen to turn off. You can actually switch this off in your mobile display settings.

It’s not just when my screen shuts off, it happens while my phone is on as well. As the screen recording that I sent you shows, it happens when I try scrolling down while in the process of writing a review. I’m just going to make sure I quickly complete my reviews without any interruptions or moving around with my phone. I’m pretty sure that will help, and I think that sitting down for a rest each day while writing them will help keep my blood pressure at normal levels. Lol🙃

I'm sorry, but there's no screen recording from you. Just 2 screenshots. You would need to upload the video somewhere and add a link to it or you can send it directly to my email daniel@casino.guru

Thank you 👍

The guy is right. I have the same problem. The old man is out of topic. Comes out when he pleases. It's really not convenient

I think I might have managed to send you a screen recording finally, let me know if you received it. Also, if it helps, I don’t have the same problem here in the forum, maybe it has something to do with the screen/window size.

Thanks a lot. Yes, I received the video. I'll show it to my colleagues tomorrow. Anyway, we are already finishing the function that whenever the window closes, the text will be saved there when you open it again. It doesn't solve the issues that it closes when it shouldn't close, but it should definitely help in a sense that you don't need to write the same text again.
