Dino Drop is a slot machine by Pragmatic Play. According to the number of players searching for it, Dino Drop is not a very popular slot. Still, that doesn't necessarily mean that it's bad, so give it a try and see for yourself, or browse popular casino games.
To play for free in demo mode, just load the game and press the 'Spin' button. You can learn more about slot machines and how they work in our online slots guide.
You might be most familiar with dinosaurs from the Jurassic Park franchise, where they're man-eating monsters, but the characters in the Dino Drop slot game are much cuter.
This Pragmatic Play title was made with mobile gameplay in mind, so it displays well in portrait mode on your phone. The grid is a lot smaller if you're on a desktop, but it's still easy enough to see.
The background is a prehistoric landscape, but it's relatively plain, without any animations or other visual effects. The T-Rex character appears at the top of the grid at all times, watching over its egg as you spin the reels.
As for the soundtrack, we're not sure what dinos listened to on their radios millions of years ago, but the safari-style tune definitely gives an authentic feeling. We like the way the music speeds up to build anticipation when you trigger the Respins feature.
Dino Drop is a very simple slot game, played on a grid of three reels and three rows. There are just five fixed paylines, which are active every time you spin.
The smiling T-Rex, followed by the Triceratops, and their other dino pals are the highest-paying symbols. The A, K, Q, and J symbols pay out smaller wins. To trigger a win, you'll need to land three of the same symbols on adjacent reels from left to right on one of the five paylines.
As Dino Drop is such a simple game, there aren't a whole lot of special features. While this will suit some players, it might make the gameplay seem a little less exciting to others. We were a little disappointed to see that the game doesn't have a Free Spins round.
The only real feature here is called "Respin Until You Win". When one or two full vertical columns of the T-Rex symbol land, they transform into Wilds, and the feature is activated. The Respins will keep on going until you get lucky enough to land a winning combination.
The minimum stake for this slot game is lower than most other slots, at just $/€/£0.05, and the maximum is set at $/€/£250. The maximum win amount for Dino Drop is 1,240x your stake, which is quite low.
Dino Drop comes with a Return to Player (RTP) percentage of 96.47%, above average when compared with other games. The volatility is high, so you might need to wait a little longer to land a win, but chances are it'll be bigger than average.
While we weren't at all impressed with the maximum win of 1,240x, there are a few factors that make this game worth a go. The theme is pretty unique, and the three-reel mechanism makes for simple gameplay. We also liked the fact that this game is made for mobile play, so you'll have no trouble spinning when you're on the go.
