The player from United Kingdom wishes her deposits to be reimbursed since the casino doesn’t hold UKGC License. After a closer examination, we ended up rejecting this complaint as unjustified.

Hi 24 Monaco are an online casino operating to UK citizens without a ukgc license and are laundering transactions as to not look like gambling transactions on my credit card this is totally illegal !!!

I have contacted them asking for a refund of my deposits but are refusing

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I’m sorry to hear about your problem. Please understand, that UKGC license is necessary only for those casinos which want to operate on UK market (targeting the UK) but if the casino does not target the UK market with their commercials (do not offer GBP currency, bonuses for UK players, etc.), they can accept UK players, they are just not protected by UKGC.

Here is an example, that could help you better understand our standpoint:

You are from the UK, and in the UK people drive on the left side of the road - that's the law. In my country, people drive on the right side of the road. But we are not building special roads for UK citizens because their laws say people should drive on the left side of the road.

And the same principle is applied for the UKGC license - you are working on the UK market, you need to follow the UK law. But if you come to play to unlicensed casino (by your free will and they are not targeting the UK market), you won’t be protected by UKGC.

Unfortunately, in this case, we are not able to help you and you have no right for refund of your deposits. I can only recommend you to do better research next time and play only in the casinos licensed by UKGC. Please let me know, if there is anything else, I could do for you regarding this case, otherwise, I will be forced to reject your complaint. Thank you for your understanding.

24 Monaco are an online casino offering their services illegal to UK citizens !!!

They are laundering transactions not to look like gambling transactions and you think that this is acceptable ????

Also play tech have informed me that their software is a clone !!! Do you think that that is acceptable ????

I haven't broken any laws in UK ,but if 24 Monaco was a law abiding online casino there would atter to the laws in UK not allowed UK citizens to register

Dear Annette,

In the case you lost money fairly, you have no right for a refund. No casino, (not even those licensed by UKGC), wouldn't give back your deposits.

Please let me know if there is any additional information that I have overlooked, otherwise, I’m afraid I will be forced to reject your complaint. Thank you in advance for your reply and understanding.

Playtech have replied to me and told me that 24 Monaco have cloned their games !!! .and you can say l Los my money fairly !!!!

Come on !!!!

Illegal gambling !!! Do they even have a gambling license from anywhere ,have you checked !!!

Laundering Transactions not to look like gambling transactions to credit card totally illegal !!!

And you can say l Los my money fairly !!!

Shame on you!!!
